Question about Garden
I have a Troy Bilt lawn mower model 11AA26M011. It runs great, starts easy. Oil level is good. While mowing the lawn it started smoking and oil started coming out of the air filter leaving a small puddle of oil. I cleaned everything up and it ran fine. After mowing the lawn several times with no problem, it did it again.
Look for a crankcase ventilation tube or such, It may be covered with grass dust and stuff, is probably a sponge to keep dust out of the motor. Rinse it out, and make sure the airway is clear.

remove the spark plug and try to pull the rope. Sometimes the coil can get loose and wedge against the flywheel. if that's not the problem then pour a little oile in the spark plug hole, let it set a bit, if it still won't turn over then you have an internal engine problems. Not very common but it can happen

You may want to check the gas cap to see if it clogged with dirt. If the gas cap is clear, you more than likely have a carburetor problem. If you need tips on carb. cleaning, feel free to ask.
