Question about Craftsman Saws
When I turn on the saw the motor won't get up to speed, and it seems to be vibrating quite a bit. And when I put wood thru it slow Dow to nothing, please help!!
You neeed to check the motor, capacitor, drive pulleys. Check thoroughly if there are loose set screws, loose
tires or sqealing bearings.
Change the belt out for a link-belt so you don't have any stiff areas causing a vibration when they hit the pulleys.
Poorly balance wheels or worn tires are another cause of excessive vibe.
The motor can be not effective anymore, you should get more powerful motor. Try to call Tech Support too.

Go to Dremel.com or call toll free1-800-437-3635 and tech service might be able to get you a schematic and wiring diagram. It does sound as though the switch is either wired incorrectly or put in upside down. If I have helped you on this would you please take the time to rate me accordingly and Thank you

I don't know how old that machine is, and I can't get any hits on the model number you gave, but have a look at this link and the other Delta/Rockwell bandsaw manuals available at the same site, and you may find something that you can use. Go to machine info>publication reprints>and choose either Delta or Rockwell, then you can filter the results by bandsaw and see what's available out there. To download, just click on the blue letters PDF under the publication preview picture.
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

It sounds to me like the blade has stretched which the do in changing temperatures.
Try replacing the blade before you give up altogether. i was having the same problem with a Ryobi Blade would come off whenever i tried to cut a pice of 3 ply. I eventually replaced the blade and all ny troubles evaporated.
