Ohm the heat element it show infinity if not replace also check power has to be 220v, most dryers have a thermal fuse that is one time fuse if that has an open circit it will not heat .

When i bought my 2002 galant the heater core had been bypassed and i connected the hoses and it still still blew out cold air. I replaced the shut vavle and it corrected the problem. Noe ive noticed...

Not likely.. Check the bolts at the thermostat... most likely didn't get them tight enough..tip of you replace a thermostat always buy a fail open thermostat .. Fail close ones kill more cars then you would believe.

it could be thermostat or it could be a blown head or valve gasket does your oil look like coffee with cream?

I had new intake manifold gadket installed noe

Since problem developed after head gasket replaced. I would look at head gasket. Try re-torque head bolts. Was correct gasket size installed? (due to wear and tear, sometimes OEM gasket is no longer correct).

your condensing unit shoould run when the heat is on. Noe what is the temperature of the discharge air at the grilles. If it's really cole then the reversing valve may not be working correctly and you may be ablre to go to emergency heat only until you get a technician out to see why.
