SOURCE: iNTERNAL FUSES HAVE BLOWN ON JVC JA-S22 INTEGRATED

The short answer is yes, it can be repaired. The internal fuses are usually speaker protection fuses. If they blow right away, the likely problem is shorted outputs. The original exact replacement may no longer be available, but any shop that repairs audio gear will be able to find replacement parts.

Update this if you need more info.

I will buy a Technics se a900s amplifier, but

I think you are saying you want to connect the amp and use it's vu meters but not connect it to speakers?
Presumably you are already well catered for in the matter of amplification but lacking good vu meters?

There is a fair amount of information about this premium amp online including operating and service manuals that can provide a better answer than I can.

One note of caution; it is generally bad practice to operate a power amplifier without a load at the output and it might damage the amplifier. If it is desired to operate it without speakers providing the load, dummy loads are available.

I suggest you have a look through ebay or Amazon where you might find digital or analogue vu meters at a reasonable cost or alternatively I believe computer software could turn your laptop into vu meters.

Most wiring now is standard colors....red=ignition(goes to a switched power source...Yellow=battery...goes to a hot all the time(even with key off)...black=ground...white=left front speaker positive...white w/blk stripe=left front speaker negative...gray=right front spkr +...gray/ blk=right front spkr - ...green=rear left +....green/blk rear left - ...violet=right rear +...violet/blk= right rear - ...light blue or blue with a stripe is the remote turn on lead either for an amplifier or power antenna...some radios have an orange/ with white stripe that connects to your parking light dimmer circuit to dim the radio light with the dash lights....and then you should have the antenna plug and possibly rca outputs that go to an external amp

Hi, my sys was working fine then 2 cables of one of the speakers came off by accident and now I can't get any sound at all to any ok the speakers I plug all right but I only get sound al the headphones...

Some of the new systems have a separate headphone amplifier chip. In that case when your wires came off , they must have shorted a second damaging the output amplifier. The protection circuit turns on disabling both the channels . On Sony systems a warning display comes on and the stereo goes to standby mode till the fault is fixed .

No sound to remote speakers in dining & deck areas.

Incoming from WHAT? Ampifiers accept inputs via RCA connections and send amplified audio to the speakers via the + and - OUTPUT terminals.

I'm guessing your colored wires are from your speakers and that there is a piece of this puzzle we do not see - how the speakers on the deck and in the dining area are wired.

You say, "was working ok previously"... previous to WHAT? Something changed.

You can probably troubleshoot and resolve this yourself.

Set the amp to a medium output level.

If the wires are simply leading to either or both pairs of speakers you could select any two of them and connect them to one side of the amp. Only a pair going to the same speaker(s) will produce sound. Once you identify one pair, the other pair probably goes to the other speakers. Connect them to the other channel output.

The last piece would be to establish correct phasing between the speakers. Bass response will suffer if they're not IN-phase. Play something with substantial bass. Listen closely, then reverse the wires on one side only. Test again. If it IMPROVES you have it right. If it losses bass, put the wires back the way they were.

Speaker wire for subwoofer

Usually, a subwoofer will have its own built-in power amplifier. Thus, it will be designed to plug into a standard RCA jack (the type used for DVD players, etc). rather than having wires to connect to a speaker terminal block. Look for a jack on the back of the receiver called "Subwoofer", or simply "SW". If your subwoofer has 2 single wires, it WON'T work with your reveiver's subwoofer output, as this output only carries a line-level signal and is not amplified. You would need a separate power amplifier for this type of SW. If your SW speaker has a DVD-type plug, it should work fine with the receiver's SW output jack.

Hello, I've been having a problem with my JVC RX-D302B 7.1 Receiver. Whenever I try to power it on, the blue power light comes on for a moment, then it clicks off. I'm planning to take it to a repair...

Unit is going into protection mode because the amplifier output stage is shorted. Measure output voltage of the speaker lines coming out of each output channel...front/center/rear...take measurement before the channel speaker line protection relay. If any voltage is present then that is the output channel that is at fault. Replacement parts are available to the consumer through tritronicsinc.com. If you have experience with a volt meter\checking transistors\soldering it is something you can do. If not it should be left to a service shop. Have a great day!!

NO SOUND

check to see if the rca's have been disconnected from the amplifier or behind the head unit. if ok, thake a power meter and measure speaker outputs on the amplifier to see if voltage is present. can also check resistance on subwoofers to see if they are blown.
