Question about Cisco Computers & Internet
With most routers there is a reset button you can hold in for about 10 seconds which will return the device to factory settings. If this does not work try the 30 30 30 reset:
with the router powered on press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then without releasing the reset button, pull the power cable from the device and wait a further 30 seconds, then plug the power back in again without releasing the reset button for a final 30 seconds. You can then power off and back on and (fingers crossed) it should be OK. If this is not the case then it is bricked and unless you are good with electronics hardware you should just replace the item.
