My Mach 1 electric scooter Is a 2 pin European plug so what fuse sicker would I need to get without them burning out 13 amp plug ok or .

It is usual practice to cut off the European plug and fit a British 13 amp plug even though adapters are available. The charger isn't likely to require much current so fitting a 3 amp fuse should be ok. If you discover the plug or the positive pin is becoming warm after some time you could increase the fuse rating to 5 amp, though I doubt it will be necessary.

Interior electrical outlet plugin

Typically ' cigarette lighter ' plugs are fused with a 15 amp fuse, so in that case 15 amps is the capacity for that plug. If you have an owners manual check it for the fuse rating for the lighter plug, or check the fuse box . There may be a list of fuses and what they are for. Some folks install auxiliary plugs with higher amperage ratings, say a 20 amp circuit. This would entail using a 20 amp fuse, the correct size wire, and a plug that is rated for 20 amps.

Peavey tnt 115 blowing fuses

Very unlikely, sounds like it's faulty. Was this on plugging in or were you using the amp, and if so doing what? What is your supply oltage?

Using cigarette lighter for air pump

It is very likely the cigar lighters circuits wiring sizes are not suitable for the amp draw of the compressor, i suggest you not use it as a power source. Buy clip leads and solder them on and use the battery as the power source. You can obtain the electrical clips from any hardware store.

What amp fuse does the Whistler SL500 radar detector take? It is an inline fuse that goes into the plug for the cigarette lighter, and I have lost it?

All Whistler radar detectors have a 2 amp fuse in the plug part of the power cord. To access the fuse you need to unscrew the tip of the plug to gain access. If the tip is missing you can email info@whistlergroup.com with details and they can get the missing parts to you.

Amperage required to run a 180 amp welder

If you mean the plug rating, you can run a 180amp mig welder on a 13amp plug, however above about 150 amps the fuse in the plug will blow, you then need to up grade to a 16 amp plug and wall socket, with the wall wiring going back to a fuse box with a 20amp fuse.

How to get to underdash fuses of a toyota matrix

The 15 amp dome fuse is in the fuse box under the hood and the 15 amp CIG fuse is in the lower finish panel up under the dash on the drivers side. These are needed for the radio. The above fuses plus the 15 amp Gauge fuse in the box with the dome fuse under the hood are needed for the clock.

If the clock is the only defective module, I have removal instructions and a repair service. Check out www.autoclockrepair.com

What size of fuse do I need for the Hot point aquarius vtd00 tunble dryer?

It must be a minimum of 13 amp, in a fused plug, or if it is an earlier old type 15amp plug then the fuse wire must be rated at 15 amp in the fuse box..
Please leave a fixya rating for my solution.
Thankyou.

Plug amp

Yes it should be safe to use a 13 amp fuse.

The convention with fuses is up to 720 watts a 3 amp fuse should be used and above 720 watts a 13 amp fuse should be used.

To be precise you need to know the exact wattage of the kettle.
Sometimes maufacturers will fit 5 amp fuses but these are only good for a power rating of 1200 watts maximum (at 240 volts).

So as your kettle is rated at more than 1200 watts it needs a 13 amp fuse.

Hope this is a FixYa.
