If you can do the repair yourself, you can buy either the complete
shutter button assembly for about $40, or there is a repair kit
available where you rebuild the broken button.
There is only ONE PLACE to buy the repair kit with instructions: DARNTOOTHYSAM com. Do a Google search for 'digital camera parts' and Darntoothysam is the first listing shown. Feel free to look elsewhere but you won't find the $20 repair kit anywhere else and on the Darntoothysam blog page there are instructions to tell you how to install it yourself.
If you don't want to try and install it, there is a repair package on Darntoothysam for only $50 that includes the part and installation plus return shipping of the camera to you!
