Check the aspect ratio of the picture. Refer its user manual for details. google.com/+GopakumarGopalan

Picture doesn't fit screen. A 1-1/2 inch wide band on top and bottom of screen. Have tried the picture button on remote but it only gives me options ie: Panoramic, standard, wide etc. Nothing seems to

Many units will self adjust the image size, but the size of the image you will see depends on what size it was originally recorded in. You can change it in the settings of the TV but most likely it will not go bigger if it was shot smaller.

TV picture is smaller than screen, how do I make it bigger?

See if there is a "wide" button on the remote. Should scroll through the display size options
Go to menu and picture adjustments are there as well

My picture on my TV is always too big. Meaning, the picture is set to a screen bigger than it really is. It does not show part of the picture because it does not fit in the area that the screen allows. ...

athacker,
This is a result of the aspect ratio being set to the wrong setting for what video source you are watching. Go into your menu and select picture>aspect ratio>normal. Then play with the five different modes to maximize the picture for the source you are watching.

I hope I was able to help. Please rate this answer if I was able to do so.

Thanks,

Can not make picture bigger on my Sanyo PLC-SW20 projector

depending on the size of the surface you are projecting on, and what the zoom capacity of your lens is, you probably only have one choice available to you, and that is to move your projector farther away from what you are trying to project onto.....

hope this helps!

Picture got bigger

Yes, you can adjust the picture by using your remote going to settings, or "Adjust" when your t.v. turns on and off by itself could have'ft to do with nasty weather near you, or the cord is loose and it needs to be pushed in all the way.
