Depends on what lenght you want, as standard it runs a .325 pitch, 058 gauge chain, bar lenghts are available in 13,15,18,20", you can convert them to a 3/8 pitch chain by changing the the rim, or changing the complete sprocket and oil pump drive gear.

I have a remington 16 inch electric saw the chain keeps coming off when I saw a small limb

Your chainsaw bar is moving back into the housing which makes it reduce the tension on the chain. You might have a bad fitting to the housing or too much grease on it. The tension screw might be missing it's spring that keeps it from changing the setting.

Clutch cover will not go back in place after changing chain.

The cover was probably removed with the chain brake set. Unfortunately, the brake must be reset in the cover with a wide blade screwdriver used in the coupling that connects with the handle mechanism. This will expand the brake band allowing it to go over the clutch drum. Good luck!

How do you change the blade with the tooless blade changing system?

If this is the Stil you flip out the chain adjusting tention handle and loosen it and then with the thumb wheel loosen the chain all the way. Turn the tention handle all the way out and then the cover will come off so you can put a new chain on it.

Changing chains.............chain brake on or off

Off, else you cannot easily remove the clutch cover; and you cannot reinstall it if tripped. Wear gloves ensure you can rotate the chain before removal.
