I've heard rumours of a fix by pulling the back plate off to put the battery plug back in.. >> this is false. You can't just pull the back off, Samsung has industrial glued the case shut. and all the connectors are tightly fitted. Exploring this will also void your warranty and may damage your device further.
I'm assuming that you know how to power on the device, by holding down the power button for about 10 seconds. We're going to do this but do something extra..
1. Plug in your Samsung Data / Charging cable into the tablet and then plug it into the wall charging adapter so that it is now charging, even though you have 100% battery.
2. Do this at the same time: Hold down the power button + hold down the down volume button, until the device turns on..
3. Once it turns on, you should see the little green Android come on the screen and then some lines of words. Do NOT scroll down the list..
>> Just push the power button once to select "Reboot"
You're tablet will load up and work correctly after this.
