Question about Kenwood Car Audio & Video

Can't locate the fuses.

Model KRX891 I bought this about 20-22 years ago. Its stopped working about 4 years ago suddenly. Where are the fuses and how do i get to them? And how can I tell if one is bad--- should I just replace all of them at the same time?

There are no fuses inside a car stereo unit. The fuse protection is outside on the power circuit. Does it do anything when you power it on?

Testimonial: "Sorry, evidently i posted this under car stereos... it is a home stereo receiver. It will not turn on ... the cd kenwood attached does DP-R791. I have the manuals, bought brand new... nothing mentioning fuses in the manual and nothing found outside of the unit ... about to toss this thing, it is just taking up space and can't use it. It rocked in its day though... was a powerful unit with the speakers, too."

I bought a Zanussi ZKG2105 less than two years ago and all of a sudden it would not switch on. Checked everything, the fuse, the power outlet and the filters, everything seems fine but it just would

Try replacing the temperature sending unit in the back of it. Just 2 screws hold it on and 2 wires connected to it. It's just a round button style with a plate and 2 holes for screws to attach it. If it's bad, you'll get no heat to the element. Runs but no heat tells you this is the problem.

My model nn-p295wf microwave stopped working ,all power just stopped, about a year ago. I took it to a repair shop and they replaced the DIODE and the fuse, then it worked again. Afew weeks ago it happened...

Replace the magnetron, safety fuse and diode as a set and check the door interlock switches.
That should get it working for another year or so.
Don't forget microwave mains fuses are special sand filled and semisurge type.

Inglis electric freestanding range model #IRE3230- Oven no longer working

If the oven and the electric panel no longer work, this is an electronic problem. The burners and the oven light will not be effected, nor will the fuses. The electronics card will need to be replaced by an appliance technician.

Whirpool quiet partner dishwasher seems to have no power

Ok there is a thermal fuse mounted on the control board that shuts down when it gets too hot. Did you run a sanitize cycle? Even if customers dont use the sani cycle which i recommend the fuse may open due to poor wire connections. The new fuse kit comes with a new harness and new connectors. Check the old fuse to be sure its bad. Dont remove the connectors from the new switch at all - dont disturb them and they will work better.

Fuse blown

the fuse will always blow if there is a shorted component. the horizontal output transistor may be the most likely culprit, if you are not a technician, have it service by a qualified one.
