Hard disk is not boot up after windows screen appears

It seems you computer is not recognising the hard-drive, on boot up, because it doesn't know where to look, i.e. it is booting up to a different drive letter. Have you got more than one drive on the system? If you have you will need to reconfigure the bootup list. Good Luck. George

When you boot your computer, start up your BIOS, then under the boot menu, make sure USB is listed as the 1st option.

I have a Fujitsu 80gb Sata hard Drive (2.5) which I have an adapter to use as a external Harddrive. However my computer and others only recognise it as a 14 gb drive. How do I get the full 80gb?

It seems this is caused by setting jumpers on your hard disk. Checkand return it to the correct position. Normally, your disk should be inthe position of Master or Slave.

I want the bios recognise usb flash

Start Windows.
Insert the USB flash-memory device.
Windows should recognize the device, and assign a "drive-letter", such as 'E:' or 'F:'.
Open "My Computer".
Select the 'E:' or 'F:' drive, and browse the files/folders.

Cd rom not recognised

you will need to install the driver for the cd. If you are on the internet go to device manager. On the list that appears select the drives, open the properties tab and it wil ask if you wish to install the driver.

No wireless settings come up at all

Oh yea I'm sure it had a lot to do with it..when you format a drive you lose everything including drivers. Check the device manager, look for Network Adapter, the click on the "+" to open If you see your wireless deivce then right-click on it and then choose to reinstall drivers..good luck, let me know how it goes and if you have any questions.,

Fujitsu v2000

I assume you mean cd driver..
your cd is recognised as plug and play and shouldnt need any drivers installing .
on the underside of unit youll find retainer screws for cd ..remove these to slide cd drive out ...startup pc and when in windows slide drive back in and sys will detect and install it .you may have to remove other covers to gain access to retainer screws for cd drive.
dont really matter which screws you remove whilst looking as long as you dont forget where they go and to replace them
