Ariston LS620A

When running my dishwasher the dishwasher tablet is not disolving and entering the system. The dispenser is open but the tablet is stuck there??? I have cleaned the removable parts from the bottom of the system and put a new tablet in but the same problem happens again. This time when removing and cleaning the parts at the bottom there is water present and it hasn't drained is that normal? Or are there other parts there I have to remove....I have tried but nothing seems to budge. Do you have access to a manual I could have for this model? Many thanks

-   The problem I am experiencing is that the tablet does not disolve, nor does the cover open to dispense the soap. Have tried powder as well but that just cakes up. Have cleaned the machine twice without any dishes inside but this has not helped. -   S427k

-   Soap problems... I too was using tablets for my dishwasher. Usually they dissolved, but sometimes they didn't. HOWEVER, what seems to be an even bigger problem is that I was told by a technician that the tablets are too big a dose for my dishwasher and they cause "caking" and a scum in the bottom of the dishwasher. He said to use only a small amount (1 t.) of powdered dishwasher detergent, specifically Cascade. Has anyone else been told this? -   Rosemary USA

hey,
I experienced the same problem and I realized it happens when you block the water from the dispenser with a dish. Make sure that it is never blocked and the dishwasher is going to work fine

Don't use tablets.

We have just had trouble with ours and the technician stated that the these dishwashers don't cope with tablets very well.

Try using a powder instead.
