Question about Ariston Technologies LL64WNA Built-in Dishwasher

2 Answers

Ariston LS620A When running my dishwasher the dishwasher tablet is not disolving and entering the system. The dispenser is open but the tablet is stuck there??? I have cleaned the removable parts from the bottom of the system and put a new tablet in but the same problem happens again. This time when removing and cleaning the parts at the bottom there is water present and it hasn't drained is that normal? Or are there other parts there I have to remove....I have tried but nothing seems to budge. Do you have access to a manual I could have for this model? Many thanks

Soap problems... I too was using tablets for my dishwasher. Usually they dissolved, but sometimes they didn't. HOWEVER, what seems to be an even bigger problem is that I was told by a technician that the tablets are too big a dose for my dishwasher and they cause "caking" and a scum in the bottom of the dishwasher. He said to use only a small amount (1 t.) of powdered dishwasher detergent, specifically Cascade. Has anyone else been told this?

The problem I am experiencing is that the tablet does not disolve, nor does the cover open to dispense the soap. Have tried powder as well but that just cakes up. Have cleaned the machine twice without any dishes inside but this has not helped.

Same problem, tablets cake inside, and the water stays at the bottom in the end of the wash...any ideas, tried everything....frustrated.

Hey,
I experienced the same problem and I realized it happens when you block the water from the dispenser with a dish. Make sure that it is never blocked and the dishwasher is going to work fine

Don't use tablets.

We have just had trouble with ours and the technician stated that the these dishwashers don't cope with tablets very well.

Try using a powder instead.

I went to take out my dishes out of the dishwasher this morning and the tablet was sitting at the bottom of the machine half disolved and most of my dishes weren't washed properly. What is the problem?

1. Check that water enters dishwasher.
2. Check that water is heated, tablet door will then open, this allows the propellor to shoot hot water at tablet to dissolve.

Soap dispenser opens, but detergent doesn't disolve and runs down front of door. Have tried several different detergents with no result.

You may have a hot water problem. The water when hot will disolve
the soap or detergent. The dishwasher hasits own heater to heat
the water entering the dishwasher. Check the electrical connections
below the dishwasher to make sure your heater is working. It may be just
a loose connection.
If this is not the case, then a service repait man will need to be called,
to determine why it is not heating the water.

The tablet in the detergent dispenser does not disolve during washing operation.

I had the same problem until I realized that I was loading the dishwasher so that there were items in front of the dispenser. This kept it from opening completely and prevented water from thoroughly contacting and dissolving the tablet. Also, make sure that your water heater is set high enough to dissolve the cube. It also helps to run hot water so that it is in the pipe, ready to go into the dishwasher when it's turned on. This is NOT necessary if you have a high temp wash button.
I hope this helps...it worked for me! If either of these suggestions solve your problem, please let Fixya know by rating my solution.
Good luck!

Tablet falls to the bottom of tub but wont disolve

The newer Whirlpool dishwashers have little slots in the top of the soap dispenser to allow water to seep in during the first water fill. This design allows the tablet to begin to dissolve during the first fill then be usefull when the soap door opens. In your case, I would check to see if the soap dish is opening at all. Perhaps one of the racks are not allowing clearance or the soap door itself is sticking closed.

Let the dishwasher fill, drain, and then fill again. Open the door of the dishwasher and see if the soap door is still closed and if so, there is your problem. Also, at this time, check the water temperature. It should be at least 120 degrees F for the soap to be effective.

Hope this helps, Ken
