Question about Creative Labs ZEN Vision:M Digital Media Player

2 Answers

Crashed Quite often I will be listening to my MP3(creative zen vision m) and suddenly it will sound like the track is skipping then the music will stop and none of the buttons will work. It will not turn off. each time it has worked again once the batteries run out and recharged. However it happens too often and when you charge up the batteries for a trip away, and it does this on the way its SO annoying!

Just reset the player using the reset button on the bottom of the player.

Re: Crashed

The songs that are skipping are most likely corrupt or have been encoded incorrectly.

Delete them and that should solve it.

Best of Luck.

for more details

Creative ZEN players do not currently support album art from Rhapsody version 4.0.
Album art is either embedded in a track, or exists as a thumbnail image in a separate file, allowing one album art file to be associated with an album. Currently, Rhapsody only supports album art embedded in the track. Future versions of Rhapsody are expected to support thumbnail versions.
Creative Media Explorer or Windows Media Player 10 or 11 can be used to transfer music purchased from Rhapsody to a player with album art included.

Album Art is supported by Creative ZEN, Creative ZEN V Plus, ZEN V, Vision:M and ZEN Vision players.
The ZEN Vision (PF1150) requires a firmware update for Album Art. You can download the updated firmware:
If you experience any difficulty transferring Album Art with Windows Media Player 10 or 11, to ZEN Vision:M, delete WMPInfo.xml (see below), and then transfer the tracks again.

Zen Vision M freezing during music upload.

Try to add your music a bit at a time instead of your whole library at once. That will freeze it. You can also try sync with Window's Media Player, which works a lot better than the Creative software.

Screen Frozen

This is not a Zen Vision:M. Likely a Zen Micro. The hard drive is bad and will need to be replaced.
