My vinotemp vt60 starts cooling then stops

I sounds to me like the compressor is overheating. There is an overload on the compressor itself. Follow the wires where they go into the compressor. There will be a black wire going from the power cord to the overload. These can be purchased at appliance parts stores. Make sure there is no dirt build up on condenser coils or a kink in the tubing.

Hi Lam Tran, I want to help you with your problem, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? I CANNOT FIND THIS INFORMATION, BUT YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE MANUAL HERE or maybe here which might enable you find the relevant part numbers, which might be useful. The manual can also be downloaded, I suspect, from vinotemp website. The parts you list are not amongst the replacement parts commonly sold by the manufacturer (see their list of replacements), so I suggest talking to their customer service or support (by whatever method is most convenient for you, if you have not already tried this) As a long shot you might try fining the spec of the parts and buying and fitting non-manufacturer parts which meet the specs. 4.May.2014

Lower zone will not cool. 45 bottle model.

This is a VT-45 (not a TC32 as mentioned), right? If its just the lower zone that isn't cooling, it could be a few things that are happening. Most likely the fan isn't working or there is a sensor issue monitoring temperature for the lower zone. I'd recommend having a service person diagnose to be sure. Otherwise, have you contacted the manufacturer, Vinotemp, for help as of yet?

Our 18 bottle vinotemp cooler quit cooling, the electrical is ok

Sounds like the cooling unit, i.e. heat sink and controller chip. $35 + $10 shipping from vinotemp, and you install yourself. I'm looking at the same thing (on the 28TEDS), though mine came after having to replace (for $45 and my own installation, incl. soldering) the circuit board. I hope yours doesn't go, too. I've read of others. Pretty poor quality parts they appear to use. I'm trying to find somewhere to buy the controller chip on its own, as the heat sink is simply a hunk of metal. Hopefully that's do-able, as it is with computer cpu's.

Vinotemp (VT-60), cools, but doesn't turn off regardless of the temp setting. It will run, cut off for aprox 5 seconds, then continue running. Is thermostat broken? Can it be repaired?

It will either be the thermal resistor or the controller of which the electronic thermostat is a part and yes it can be repaired. It is a reasonably common and cheap fault to repair. If you go to the following link you can get the service manual FOC

and you can contact a repair company via Vinotemp at the following link

Vinotemp VT-16TEDS has light on but doesn't cool

First check the grating over the fan in the back. If it is covered with dust, there won't be enough air flow and the unit won't cool. Clean the dust off and see if it cools back down. It may take a long time to cool down if it is full of wine, so I recommend taking the wine out to test if it works.

Vinotemp wine cooler won't cool

It sounds like your control module is bad. Vinotemp does list the replacement part as available at a cost of around $35
