Question about GTCO CalComp Drawing Board III 34480 Graphic Tablet

Open Question

I just purchase a used 34480 ( 36x48) tells me it's a drawingboard 2??

Hi there, okay, first of all as I said, the tablet says right on it it's a calcomp drawingboard 3 but the tablet software downloaded from calcomp finds the tablet and reads it as a drawingboard 2!,,,now, that's not a big deal I don't think but, the 16 button cordles cursor that came with it does not want to work. tablet/software recognize it and the cursor on the pc screen moves around buttons work!... same goes for the cordless pressure sensitive buttons work!..( yes, batteries have been replaced in both!). any ideas?...the corded 4 button cursor works fine but the reason I got the tablet is to draw/paint...much better with a pen! me out if you can...thanks!

First conform that serial port is selected as NONE on digitizer manager while you running the lectra tablet utilities. If you try this already please check your cable connectivity any one of the line may be missing connection. It may work but you can't able to run lectra tablet utilities.

Hi I bought samsung galaxy note tablet 10.1 and when I tried to charge there is like charging but is going low what I need to do , please help?

You might need a new battery. I had a similar problem with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S (8.5" screen). It wouldn't stay charged for long, and would turn off if the battery level got to 1/2 to 1/4. I've had the tablet ever since it came out years ago, so I thought maybe the battery had lost its ability to charge or maintain a constant flow of electricity to keep the electronics happy. I ordered a replacement battery offline and have had no problems. I figured buying a battery and trying that as a fix is cheaper than buying a new tablet. (If it didn't work, I would buy a new tablet.) Now when the battery level gets low, the tablet stays on, doesn't flicker off or freeze like it used to do, and works okay. You can watch a video online how to open the tablet back and replace the battery, plus you get it on a DVD with the battery. The original battery is glued into the tablet; it seems as though you're destroying the tablet when you try to lift it out -- but if you go slow and gently pry it up, it should be okay. It was a gamble and it paid off.

I just purchased the android tablet and the charger is not working, I am using my phone charger to charge it, is there a way you can send me a new charger and also I need a stylist for it. Thank you.

Sorry Patricia,

We don't sell tablets, we only try to answer questions. You should try to contact the firm you bought the tablet and ask them. It could be the tablet does not come with a charger. For that just look on the net, what a complete package for your tablet is.
I would not tell the shop I tried others chargers, because if the tablet is defect they will blame you for not using the right charger.
Not knowing what tablet it is I even can't give an advice on how you could charge it, because lots of tablets can be charged with an USB cord, connected to a computer.

My tablet keeps freezing

There are probably not enough Toshiba tablet experts on line to assist you with your problem.
Assuming that you have removed all external devices connected to the device and the battery is fully charged. Batteries themselves have a device inside them that will shut down when they overheat or if you draw to much current from them. I'll assume its not the battery.
When a tablet freezes or locks up, it is either a hardware problem or a software problem. The hardware is harder to fix as it may require looking inside the device at the electronics.
Software is perhaps an easier place to start to prove if it is a hardware or software problem. The software divides into 2 categories. The Apps that run on the device and the Operating System that manages the device and the user queries and the data coming & going.
So, the things that you can try are:
1. Do a complete tablet reset. The buttons you use and the method will be in your manual or find the manual as a .pdf file on line.
This restarts the complete reset & power up of the device.
2. Throw out all Apps that have been loaded since purchase. Then reset & test for fault. Assuming of course that you have a backup of all your purchases (Music, Apps, Movies, Books etc)
once you have done all this you have completed the software side of diagnosing the problem. If still not solved....
3. The hardware may be faulty or bad. If your not qualified yourself to take it apart then take it to a Toshiba dealer for repair or Warrantee replacement. Record it's serial number first.
5. So... like so many other people... you must have bought this machine because of price, Right? I mean, why else would you buy such an obscure brand of Tablet! Because it was cheap you will now pay the price & perhaps realize why so many people buy the most popular & well supported machines on the market. Android devices are for the Tech guys that like to fiddle & don't like Apple's control or price. So if your not in that class the the options are clear. Although expensive, Apple were the first & are the best in their class.
When did Toshiba start making world class Tablets??? Go Figure!

Okay i have to reset my childrens next7p12 tablets but i dont know how to reset

Hi, you can try resetting by following the below steps. It works for most tablets.
1 turn off the tablet
2 press and hold the power button and keep tapping the volume down button at the same time.
3 it should take you to recovery screen. Go to factory reset by using volume button and select by using either the center button on the tablet or the power button if there is no center button.

please reply if it helped
