Husqvarna 42" Yard Tractor YTH1542XP rear fuel line leak

I have fuel line leak near the fuel tank. Looked and it's in a hard to get to location. Without taking the entire seat assembly off & the mower deck, I'm trying figure what has to come off to replace it. I guess I need to replace the line from the tank to the fuel filter. Level: good mechanical ability. Thanks!!

SOURCE: My Husqvarna lawn tractor deck will not engage

First check the belt.Make sure it is tight when the lever is engaged, and the engine is off.Make sure the belt is on all pulleys, and inspect for frays in the belt.If the belt is ok then, run your hand under the fender around the area of the lever.Make sure there is no debris blocking the lever from fully engaging. If that is good.Next inspect the linkage between the lever`s handle and the deck.Again make sure there is no debris and all connections are snug.

Check the fuel tank cap. It needs to let air into the tank and has a small hole to enable this. Try running the engine with the cap loosely in place to verify this is the cause. If you can't clean it get a new one.

Try it with the fuel cap loose ( not off just loose). This will see if the tank is venting properly. You may also have a bad fuel filter, fuel lines or trash in the tank.

Tractor won't start. Acts fuel starved. I see very little fuel in the filter which is new. I suspect the fuel pump assembly is bad. Any easy way to test the pump? 20hp Kohler engine.

you can to this in two ways. pull the out put hose off, turn the engine. be vary careful, to see if fuel comes out. or do a pressure test about 3 to 5 pds. check the tank. I have seen flays and other ?? in the tank plugging the lines. blow air throw the lines (not the pump)

Blowing fuses

try unplugging the pto, starting the mower and then engaging the blades. If it still blows a fuse the problem lies in the mowers wiring. If not the problem is the pto. Hope this helps

My husqvarna GTH2448T has to be choked to run

check the fuek lines for hole and leaks, check the fuel filter and clean if necessary. remove the carbuerator and inspect the gasket; it should be soft and flexible, if it seems hard or brittle replace it. clean the carb with carb cleaner sray (available at any local auto parts store) and compressed air. make sure you get inside the small fuel rail holes.
