To update the existing map for your Nextar product, please contact Nextar to find out if any new map information has become available. The products are usually pre-loaded with USA/Canada maps, depending on the model.
OR
Go to Nextar.com and select your model.

Turn it on again , then when it stucks again press reset to solve the problem .

You can contact Nextar at www.nextar.com to see if there is an update available ... but they haven't distributed any updated maps for a couple years from Navteq (who provides the maps to Nextar).

Hey,
I am looking for the original data for this model. Is there ANY way you could zip the data off the SD card any maybe send it to me over Skype or something?
Nextar has been less than helpful and I just need the original data.

My problem has been remedied. I took the product back to the store and got my money back. I am sorry I had to do this but your tech support stinks. I did not think that I should have to pay for tech support on a product that was still under warranty. I did not purchase another Nextar due to the tech support. I will purchase another GPS system from another supplier.

Did you try the switch on the back of the GPS? Turn off on the front, turn the switch on the back off, then on. This has worked for me numerous times.

Do a hard reboot, take batt out for more than 15 min. Or let system die out power. Then start over.
