What does code p1447 mean ...???

The code says "evap purge flow monitor fault"
Possible causes include ...
- EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve stuck closed.
- EVAP control system pressure sensor and its circuit.
- Loose, disconnected, or improper connection of rubber tube.
- Blocked rubber tube.
- Blocked or bent rubber tube to MAP/BARO switch solenoid valve.
- Cracked EVAP canister.
- EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve.
- Closed Throttle Position Switch.
- Improper connection of one-way valve.
- Blocked purge port.
- EVAP canister vent control valve.

This is a "jackpot" code. It points to so many possible causes as to be almost useless.

My WMS38 Hotpoint washing machine has the wash, rinse and spin and final spin lights on but nothing happens when the start button is pressed

Assuming tap water is turned on. If there is no water intake, the machine will not start. Check for the sound of water pouring in the machine. Check the water inlet filter, if it is jammed with foreign materials such as rust deposits, small stones, soil etc. Then check for the proper functioning of inlet water solenoid valve. Sometimes the valve gets stuck.

Water runs rite thru, trigger in or out.

First be sure the tank itself is not leaking. If it is not, you probably have a solenoid valve which is stuck in the open position. There are 2 solenoid operated valves - one for the soap/water solution, and one for rinse. If a solenoid has failed, it will need to be replaced.

Machine does not fill + how do access the float+pump

Check that your supply faucet is open, Check if there is a screen in the supply line, these can become blocked due to scale deposits from the mains. If there is no screen check that the inlet solenoid valve has not got blocked. If none of the above help, check that there is power getting to the solenoid valve when the machine is supposed to be on the fill cycle. If no power is betting to the valve, the timer might ba faulty. (You can try hand filling the machine and see if it goes through a cycle, at least up to the rinse stage, this will tell you if the timer control is working).
Remove the bottom strainers and make sure that there is nothing obstructing the outlet pipe and the pump. If possible back flush through the outlet pipe and try draining the machine again before using it again.

It is unlikely that your machine uses a float, it probably has a level sensing valve attached to the bottom tray by a pipe and looks something like this:-

What is po411 and po445 for 2006 vw jetta/

P0411- Means Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow Detected!
Possible causes - Vacuum hoses damaged.
- Air Pump inoperative.
- Air bypass solenoid circuit open.
- Air bypass solenoid leaking/blocked or stuck open/closed.
- Air diverter valve leaking/blocked or stuck open/closed.
- Air air hoses r Possible solution - Visually inspect vacuum lines for disconnects in the AIR systems and visually inspect for proper vacuum line routing. Repair if necessary.
- Disconnect the air pump hose at the solenoid valve, start the engine and see if there is air being pumped P0445- Means Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit Shorted! Possible causes - Damage harness or connectors to the Purge Control Valve
- The valve circuit is open or shorted
- EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve may be faulty
P0445 Description The EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve uses a ON/OFF duty to control the flow rate of fuel vapor from the EVAP canister. The EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve is moved by ON/OFF pulses from the ECM. The longer the ON pulse, the greater the amount of fuel vapor that will flow through the valve. When is the code detected? - An excessively high voltage signal is sent to ECM through the valve

My dishwasher is full of water when the program finishes

Assuming the pump is working...

Is the outlet hose blocked, kinked, or plugged?

Does the machine drain after the wash cycle/before the rinse? If it does, the controller or timer is malfunctioning. If it doesn't, you need to check the drain valve and solenoid.

There is a solenoid that is supposed to move a valve to pump the water out of the machine at draining time. Either there is something stuck inside the valve that is preventing it from shifting, the solenoid/wiring is messed up, or the controller is bad.

Take the panel off the machine below the door. Find the drain hose. Follow that back to where it attaches to the dishwasher. The solenoid and valve is at/near where the hose attaches.

If there are no obstructions inside the valve you need to check the electric to the solenoid.

Run the machine and when it gets to the point that it should drain check to see if the solenoid has power to it. If it doesn't you have a wiring or controller problem.

If the solenoid has power, the solenoid itself is bad. Remove it and take it to your local appliance parts store along with the make and model of the dishwasher.

My washing machine will fill with hot water only, no cold water comes out and the machine gets stuck on teh rinse cycle

Check for a cold water supply problem by taking a look at the water inlet valve. Remove the water supply hoses and check the small metal screens inside the openings on the valve (especially the cold water side). Make sure they are free of rust or debris. Check the solenoids. They can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity means a bad solenoid and the water inlet valve assy will need replaced. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Machine will fill but not complete any cycle. suspect timer

If the washer will fill on all cycles except rinse, it indicates a cold water supply problem. (Cold water is what is used in the rinse cycle). This normally would be caused by a faulty solenoid on the water inlet valve. Here is a picture. The solenoid can be checked with an ohm meter or multimeter. If the solenoid reads zero ohms, it is stuck open and the inlet valve must be replaced. Hope this helped and best wishes.

LG1814WM will not drain properly

Start checking the drain lines at the back of machine, ensure that the drain hose is not blocked.

If this does not fix the problem , then access the drain pump, and check the drain hose and pump are not blocked.

If still no luck, you need to have the pump and valve solenoid tested by a technician , to ensure valve it is not stuck or faulty, by energizing the solenoid.

If the pump solenoid is fine, and pump opens and close, then the problem is usually the control panel, rarely can also be a contact on wiring harness to the pump.

Eneter model number here to find parts and diagrams for your appliance.
