SOURCE: modem/router

You need to call your INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER. You need a USERNAME and PASSWORD from your ISP when you set your modem to bridge. This username and password will serve as your connection authentication. Once the modem is already bridged you have to set the INTERNET CONNECTION TYPE on the router to PPPOe(that is where you type your USERNAME and PASSWORD). When you are already online, you might need to forward the port number for your ip camera for it to work.

SOURCE: setup linksys wrt54g2 broadband router with prolink h9200 modem

You probably will need to make some configuration changes in the Linksys router, or in your computer, or both. Your are correct that you connect the Linksys WAN connection to the LAN connection of the modem. If your connection type is PPPOE, you will need to set that up in the Linksys with the username and password provided by your ISP, so the modem will allow you to login and connect to the internet. If that is how you were connecting to the modem with your computer, you will need to configure a new LAN connection in the computer in order to connect to the Linksys. You can then configure the Linksys through your web browser to connect to the modem.

If you find my suggestions to be helpful, please share with us some details so that others may benefit from knowing the whole story. Thank you!

SOURCE: How can I open my NAT? It is for playing MW2..

The factory default router address is 192.168.1.1. However, if the router detects a
conflict with the address it gets from your modem, it automatically picks a different
address for itself. In this case, you can log in to the router using
www.routerlogin.net to verify its LAN IP address. Select LAN IP Setup under
Advanced on the main menu. Take note of the LAN TCP/IP setup IP address,
which should match the default gateway IP address on your computer.

Once you get there you will be able to change the settings, I hope this help you, here is also the link for the manual:

I am making the assumption that your web camera is the Prolink PC1320. If it is the try the following link:

DLink Wireless Extender

  1. move the router,
the router can be anywhere, as long as it is connected to the modem
  2. reorient the antenna,
its surprising just how much difference changing the antenna direction has.
  3. ensure the router is broadcasting at 100% power in the router settings page
might not solve the problem, but have worked in the past
