pls it may be because of dust so pls put off your catridge from printer and then again install it and pls uninstall driver and install it again...

Goto Printing preference and there you will see that wether there Grascale Printing option may be clicked. There you have to click color option and check it out once. else may be color catridge may dry also.

Lexmark has programmed the this printer to ONLY recognize THEIR cartridges! You can not use any thing else except their over priced, half filled cartridges you get at Wally World.

Wow, nice "solution," Printech. That is BS. There has to be a way to trick this printer into using refilled ink. If not, why would they sell refilled ink kits for this printer? Cut the **** and give us a SOLUTION. I refuse to pay $30 for a "certified Lexmark" cartridge when I can spend $15 for a refilled one.

Try resetting the ink settings on the printer's program. I use compatable cartidges all the time in my lexmark no problems, as long as i always rest the ink before i start a new one. Try a good clean too. Why are you contacting hp site if your printer is a lexmark. You need the lexmark site. I thought your printer issue is with a lexmark z1420

ok..the cd drivers MAY not be current go here, and follow link through lexmark icon for latest drivers

remove old software first though

no worries..start by getting new driver for that here

IB4G2008: Do u actually have a solution or a better driver for this printer OR are u just out to promote your site?

Your solution is not helping & if u think it is, pls oh pls,let me know of a DIRECT link for it, as i havent found anything that makes the problem better, nor a better driver for that particular printer.

Pls advise.
