SOURCE: What are the benefits of high beach chairs over low beach chairs?

Because high chairs are higher off the ground, they are easier to access and get up from. Also, sitting on a high chair allows you to sit with your legs in a hanging position.

SOURCE: Can I take a camping chair to the beach instead of a beach chair?

Taking a camping chair to the beach is not a good idea because the chair's legs will dig too deep into the sand, making it harder to move the chair through the sand.

SOURCE: What are the advantages of metal deck chairs over plastic deck chairs?

The main advantage of metal deck chairs over plastic ones is the look. Metal ones are definitely more attractive and nicer to look at. Moreover, because they are heavier than plastic chairs, they are less likely to get blown away by the wind.

How to Choose a Rocking Chair?

Some people think that rocking chairs are just the traditional wooden chair used to either nurse a baby or for sitting on the porch watching the sunset, but rocking chairs can be a great addition to a kid's room or part of lounge furniture.
Nowadays rocking chairs don't just come in plain wood designs. There are different colors and styles, chairs made from plastic or wicker and even especially ergonomically designed ones. Here are some tips to help you pick the type of chair that is right for you:
1. Decide what kind of motion you are going for. Chairs can either move back and forth or side to side (known as gliders). The back and forth chairs take up more space but give a smoother motion.
2. Choose the kind of material that you want your chair to be made from. Traditional rocking chairs are made from wood but you can also get in metal and plastic. If you want an outdoor chair, bear it in mind when deciding on your material choice.
3. Some rocking chairs come with cushions, others you have to buy separately. When they are attached they don't move around or fall off, but can't be cleaned as easily. Also removable cushions give you the option of choosing colors and patterns and changing your mind as time goes on.
4. Finally decide what your budget is. Rocking chairs can be bought for as little as under $100 for a very basic wooden design and cost up to several thousand dollars for hand crafted and exotic woods. Pick a budget range and stick to it.

Just bought some dining room chairs and we can't see how to attach the cushions! Is there a secret way of doing it?

By cushions if you mean the seat then all it needs is a few wood screws to fasten to the base. if there is no hole for screws in the base frame then you could fix these with angle brackets.

I bought the INGOLF dining room chair from Ikea a few months ago. There is a padded cushion on the seat that can be removed and washed. Is there a specific way to wash the cushion or can I just throw it...

The Ikea website offers washing and care instructions for this specific product. The instructions are as follows: machine wash in hot water (140F), do not bleach, do not tumble dry, iron at high temperature.

Chicco Polly high chair - the padded cushion seat has torn in several places and the dirt and crumbs gather and rot!, can I buy a spare?

does the bottom of the seat have screws that you might be able to replace the foam padding from a craft store and buy vinyl there as well; like recovering a kitchen chair?
