Flashing red light, screen doesnt turn on

Hi- My Philips 42in plasma television recently stoped turning on.. The lower left-hand corner light has gone from the normal green to a flashing red- and the screen does not turn on. I purchased the television august 2006 and and had never had any issues with it before. Thanks for the help Chris

I found this solution in an other forum , don;t now if you are experiencing the exact same problem though

I have the exact same T.V. with the exact same problem. I took it out of my living room for 8 months and right before I hit it with a baseball bat.....I plugged it in and it came on. Don't know how long it will last.
