SOURCE: how can i get a replacement front speaker for a

Look at the back of the speaker that you're replacing for a label. You can replace it with any speaker that exactly matches the ohm rating (a number with a little upside-down horseshoe next to it) and that meets or exceeds the wattage (a different number with a "w" next to it).

How to fix my acer aspire 5740G model lap top sound distortion, When it with Speaker connection its clear, Without speaker its more distorted, any one can give solution?

This is due to the internal speakers which might need replacing, it sounds better with external speakers because they are plugged into the headphone socket which shows the internal speakers are damaged, get them checked out.

Denon AVR 1508 distortion on left channels

I have a different model, but sometimes suffer this when power outages or other strange things happen. Its usually the microprocessor getting confused and not doing its job properly, once none of the speakers came on at atll!
In the handbook, it will tell you how to do a factory reset - that always sorts mine (Same brand, Denon). Just a pain setting it all up again.
You should be able to find a PDF version of the handbook online if your's is misplaced in the house move.

My SONY Home Theater Model HT-6600DP unit was working fine and then about tow years after...present, my sub woofer is sounding distorted. Why is this happening? Please help me as I often watch my home...

Is it so even at lower volumes?

Are you sure it's the sub distorting and not the front or center speakers?

If you designate them incorrectly as Large (which tells the receiver they CAN effectively produce bass frequencies) they will probably distort in the presence of low frequencies.

HI CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHY MY FENDER RUMBLE 100 BASS AMP DISTORTS AT LOW VOLUME? EVEN THOUGH THE SPEAKERS IS NOT BLOWN

A common reason for 'distortion' with all bass amps can be either that the screws holding the speaker unit to the cabinet have worked loose or that there has been a build up of dust particles in the corrugations around the edge of the speaker cone, which rattle especially on the lower notes.
The solution is simple - remove the front grille and check the screws are tight. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the rim of the speaker cone.

It would be helpful to understand what electronics we're building a system around.

Next time type carefully and provide exact make/model numbers as typographical errors in a model number will send us careening down the wrong path.

I'll assume you're talking about Panasonic models. I would highly advise AGAINST mixing HTS speakers with any make or model they're not designed for. If proprietary connectors instead of bare speaker wires are present that's a huge warning sign.

Take those wattage specs with a huge grain of salt as they're strictly for show and have no grounding in reality at normal acceptable distortion levels.

4-ohm (or less) speakers will present a challenging load to anything not designed for that low an impedance.

You're treading in unknown territory where creativity might yield poor results at best and equipment destruction or worse.

Distortion

The wattage rating, I take it, for the speakers is more than 45 watts right? Check to make sure that you connected the right wires to each speaker, front right + wire to front right speaker, not front right +, to front left + and make sure that the -'s are connected to the -'s, and the +'s are connected to the +'s.

Nope. WE have about 50 of these with no problems. Please describe the type of distortion that you have. It may be as simple as a bad transistor in the power amp.
