Question about Casio Edifice EF106D2AV Wrist Watch

1 Answer

Watch stops sometimes and then restarts

I just got a new edifice multi dial watch. I work at a deli and sometimes look at my watch for the time. I've had it for a week. Twice the time has stopped for 20 mins and then restarted. It's not digital so I know electronics is not the issue. When I set the time up to 20 mins it operates just fine. Why does my watch do this? It seems to be for only 20 mins then when I look at my watch, it is working.

If it's new, then just take it back to where you got it. There is no way your warranty can run out in a week.

Download the instructions from the Casio web site and look for a "master reset" You'll need to get the instructions for your "module" which is printed on the back cover of the watch.

Do you realize that this watch has a screw down crown to keep it waterproof?
Hold it in and turn it clockwise to lock it down.
Let me know if this helps.

Bought a new Casio Edifice EF-534D-2AVDF. Unable to pull the crown to set date/time. Can you please guide me how to pull the crown to set date/time

It could be that you need to unscrew it before pulling it out (at feature that is sometimes used to give a better seal).

Turn the crown anticlockwise about 1/4 -1/2 a turn then pull.

Watch stops intermittently.

Make sure the dial that is used to set your watch is snug against the frame of the watch. Sometimes when people reset the time on their watches they don't push the dial all the way back in which will cause it to stop. If it is an intermitten problem it may be close but not all the way in. Some watches continue to run when they are being set; whereas, some stop when the dial is pulled to reset them.
