Re: Might not be my exact TV

If you have No Channels at all, try your TV from a known good cable feed, (upstairs) or try using a VCR to check the TV's function  If it works upstairs, try entering the Menu, and make sure Cable is selected, it sounds like it may be on the TV or Antenae setting.  This setting is usually in the Channel Select or similar menu.  Change it to Cable and it may help.

I have a 32" RCA 32V432T TV that only shows snow now. I've checked everything externally but still no picture. Any solutions?

There could be several things that can cause this: 1. There are no analog channels in your area. 2. Check the menu setup and verify that you select the proper input (antenna, cable, etc). 3. The TV tuner is defective Try using the composite input on the TV (there are normally 3 jacks per input). Yellow for video and red and black for audio. If you dont have the proper cable, pick one up in you local 99 cent store or an electronic store.
Connect the "output" of your device (VCR, cable box, Tivo, dvd player, etc) to the "input" on the TV. Then use your TV remote to select the proper input.
Hopefully this helps. Good luck.

DVD to TV - can't connect. No inputs on the actual TV

You could buy a RF Modulator, into which you can Input the 3 cables (Video, Audio Right and audio Left) and the Modulator will make it into a single RF signal, which can be tuned by the TV. RF Modulators are generally set at UHF Channel 36 by Default. One of the easisst available is the Rabbit Ears Modulator, which "transmits' the signal wirelessly to the TV. Not more than 15-20$

White lines in tv whats the problem??????????????

Check the cable that you are using. If it's a "single" shielded cable, it maybe letting in "air" frequencies, like you have an antenea hooked to your TV. Especially if you live in a city that has several Tv stations near you. The cable could be to old and has breaks in it, or not grounded properly.

At the end of my wires

If you use scart cables you almost cannot go wrong. You can either hook one scart from your DVD/VCR to the TV and one from the cable box to the TV, and switch using the A/V button on your TV.

Alternatively, you can hook one from your cable box to the "in-port" on your DVD/VCR, and one from the DVD/VCR to the TV. In this case you should be able to record programs from your tuner.

We hooked it up with another DVD player, no difference, We used another TV, worked good. We changed all the cable cords, and made no difference. It comes right down to that TV. yes from aboe it is 100% sure that trouble is in tv. every channel is blury and has a trail. it is due to focus of your tv is not ok 1 adjust focus control 2 focur wire going to crt base might be loose due to some foreign material deposited on crt base. 3 defective crt base. 4 if tv is old there might be possibility of crt getting weak. hope this will help.
