SOURCE: Rockford Fosgate Punch End CapsEnd Caps

I TAKE IT THAT YOU ARE REQUESTING A SOURCE FOR A PAIR OF ENDCAPS FOR YOUR PUNCH-200IX. IF THIS IS THE CASE, I SUGGEST THAT YOU CHECK EBAY ON A WEEKLY BASIS AS I AM SURE AFTER SOME TIME, YOU WILL SEE A PAIR LISTED. THERE IS ALSO A SELLER ON EBAY THAT HAS MANY OF THE LOGOS FOR THE MANY DIFFERENT MODELS THAT CAN BE PLACED ON ANY OTHER MODEL ENDCAPS FROM THE SAME SERIES (DSM, IX, X2, ETC. LET ME KNOW IF I MISUNDERSTOOD YOUR REQUEST......V

SOURCE: wire my rockford fosgate rf2002 amp and 12"sub to cobalt

Hi my names Josh. I see you want put your rockford amp in. Assuming you have your factory radio you have some wiring to do. But first you need and amp kit it wil have the necessary wiring you will need in it to wire your amp to your car. You will also need a line level converter they you can pick on up at best buy other wise known as a pac converter. This will alow you to transfer the high level frenquency your radio puts out to a low level frenquency to go strait to your amp through a pair of RCA's thus giving you sound to your amp and then to the sub. Your wiring will consist of the ground which you will have to ground off the vehicles chasis no more than a foot from your amps designated location. Then you have you power 12v which is about a 4 gauge wire and will be fuzed and ran strait to the positive side of your battery and last will be your remote wire. Your amp will have a place marked remote on it that is strickly for you to wire to your radio/ignition source for powering the amp up when radio is on and powering it down when it is off. YOU MUST ISOLATE THAT WIRE with a 12 volt tester it will be the wire that is tied in to your radio to power only when your igniton is on and when you turn your key it should tell you if you know how to properly check for this wire. wants you istolate this wire you will want to tie into to it and then of coarse run it and tie it into your amps remote power again it will be marked remote on your amp. From there all you have left is tying in your line level convererter.. This takes some patience as you must make sure that you do isolate your sound left and right postive and negetive front and rear channels the line level converter will tie into either your front or rear channel but caution you dont get them mixed or you will not have a signal at all. Again my names Josh and i hope you are able to get it hooked up okay.

SOURCE: rockford fosgate p 300-1 amp will not turn on

plug your ground, battery, and remote wires only and see if it turns on when you turn your radio on, if not it must have blown. wiggle or move the connection block(where your wires are connected) and see if it tries to turn on. if so, your leads need to be re-soldered since they tend to go cold(they're not making good contact). But again, if that does not help, then your amp is gone.

I just need to know if the crossovers that come with the T1652-S Rockford fosgate have fuses . to prevent the speakers and tweeters from being burn out. or for safety purposes

The fuse like componets in the crossover are not fuses and do not provide absolute protection from the speakers blowing. As you turn the volume up you will notice that these fuses will begin to light up along with the music. Whats happening is as they light up they create resistance to help prevent the speakers from blowing.

I have a rockford fosgate punch P325.1 subwoofer mono amp that blows a fuse every time i start the car. I have a second pioneer amp but that works with no problems. How can i fix this?

Is it the correct size fuse ? Is it the power fuse or remote ? Either way check your connections going into the amp . Try this hook your other amp to the set of wires for the rockford if that amp has a problem its a wireing problem if not chances are its an interal problem on the rockford . Hope this helps !

Rockford Fosgate Punch P325.1 Amp keeps blowing fuses every time I start the car. What is going on?

well if the amp works with the car off and when you start it the fuse blows then you may have alternator issues use a volt meter to check battery voltage is not above 14.5 volts
if the fuse blows when the amp turns on then most likely you have a shorted output section in the amp.

I have a rockford fosgate 550 that the fuse blows

Short inside one of the transistors. This requires very good soldring skills and electrical know-how, and some thermal paste to go between the heat-sink and the transistor. Unfortunatly this is not a cheap repair, probably cost around 100 dollars.

Cheers,

Kevin

Rockford fosgate 800 a2 amp power?

Hello desperate2le,

Watts delivered is a function of the voltage times the current. If the amp was 100 percent efficient, it would need 33 amps at 12V for 400 watts. At 14.4V, it would only need 28 amps. Of course, amplifiers are NOT 100 percent efficient, only about 50-60 percent in many cases, but somewhat higher for monoblocks, maybe 80-90 percent. So you're looking at a fuse in the 60-80A range. In the absense of a specific fuse size from the manufacturer, I'd start the primary fuse at a 60A and if the amp blows it on power up/immediately/frequently, move up to an 80A.

All of the Rockford-Fosgate 2-channel bridgeables I've ever seen show using the left positive (+) and the right negative (-) for bridging. But if it's not shown right on the amp, I'd call or email RF for the correct connection. The new amps do show it.

Hope this helps.

Rockford amp cut out

Disconnect all speaker wires from the speaker terminals of the amp and disconnect the RCAs. Replace the 30 amp fuse with a 15 amp fuse. If you turn it on and it blows the fuse, it's likely that it has shorted output transistors. If that's the case, you need to have the amp repaired.
