There should be a output on the TV. Hook the sound bar up, set the TV up to use external sound and use the sound bar remote untill you sync it to a different remote. Give it a try!!!!

How did you connect it up to the TV? I am stuck even connecting mine yet alone getting sound :S

If you have sound but no picture on your TV, its likely to be the invertor. Call the Tesco electrical helpline and they will tell you who is the UK repair agent if its still under warranty.

The faint light indicates that there is not enough power being provided to the other circuitry as well the humming sound is a good indication that the power supply needs ot be replaced or repair. If your TV is less then a year old, still under manufacturers warranty.
