Music stopped playing "synchronize to continue..."

My sansa c250 was working just fine and I am using the Rhapsody music player to get my songs. But today, when I went to play songs I had put on it, I keep getting the message "Synchronize to continue your music subscription" I am on a two month trial subscription. The songs appear on the playlists on the player but if I try to play them, I get the message. I've connected it to Rhapsody thinking that syncs it but i have the same problem over and over???

This still happens to me, and I connect to rhapsody player about once or twice a week. Any idea why and what I should do?

I am getting the sychronize to continue your subscription message, but I use Windows Media Player. I have tried connecting with the media player to sychronize, but I'm still getting the same message.

Don't use rhapcity (sp?)

Delete your songes.

Use limewire to get them back.

(I hate rhapcity ((same thing happened)) )

That is what I was looking for! So connect every 15-30 days to verify account. I can't stand it when it stops in the middle of a song (with no reason or clue) with that stupid message about synchronizing to continue. Thanks for the scoop.

Your device has to be connected to Rhapsody every 15 to 30 days to verify your account.

If you are connected and signed in, and still receive this message, you should contact Rhapsody Technical Support as the error is on their end. (866-597-5507)

Best of Luck.

When playing my mp3 the songs that i have downloaded off my pc from a paid site, across the screen of the sansa says synchronize to continue your music subsription. the songs will not play please help me

Even though you should be able to resynchronize the files through Rhapsody in order to update the licenses on the music files, in my experience with this player, you have to go through a long, painful process:
1) Open Rhapsody
2) Connect your mp3 player to the computer
3) Delete the songs off the player itself using Windows Media Player - but make sure you still have a copy of these songs on your computer
4) Reload the Rhapsody songs

If your subscription to rhapsody expires, you will no longer be able to use the songs unless you buy them from the Rhapsody Mp3 Store.

Sansa rhapsody mp3 player

Your Windows Media Player may need to be updated and the player may need to be formatted. Please try these steps: 1) If you do not have it installed yet, please install the latest version of WMP10. 2) Download and install the quick fix from: http://download.microsoft.com/download/7/e/0/7e055e3f-6014-43bc-b6ff-6a90ced1d032/WindowsMedia10-KB902344-x86-INTL.exe 3) Format m250 device using the Sync mode in WMP. 4) To test, transfer songs to the player using the software for your subscription music service.

Synchronize to continue your music subscription

The "synchronize files to continue" is annoying, and you are likely to get it again. If the music files on your player came from Rhapsody, the short-term solution is to re-synch the files through Rhapsody itself. If your subscription to Rhapsody, Overdrive, etc. ever expires, you will also get this message. The only long-term way around this problem is to only load songs that are in mp3 format (Rhapsody has an Mp3-Only subscription, which is different from its regular subscription; Limewire is another choice - but it is prone to have viruses, and some ISPs will cut off your broadband if you use the service). If you wanted to erase all songs and start over from scratch, you could update the firmware on the player - it will have the side effect of erasing everything on the player.

Good luck!

Trying to synch my SanDisk MP3 player to Rhapsody

This player is a little goofy. The normal method to synchronize is through Windows Media Player. But if you go for the Rhapsody subscription, you have to also sync the device through Rhapsody.

Mp3 Player - sansa sandisk 2 GB

Unfortunately you are not going to be able to go online to sync your device...All music subscription such as napster and rhapsody require you to sync your device every single month using their actual software..The reason is to prevent customer from cancelling their music subscription..once you cancel your membership all the songs you have on your device will become useless. In another word, you are renting the music from the subscription company...

P.S.Please rate accordingly...

Synchronize to continue your music subscribtion???????

You have to synchronize your Sansa to a computer that has a current subscription to Rhapsody, and you have to sync the Sansa to that same computer at least once every 30 days, or the Rhapsody songs will stop working. Use a different music service that is free, or convert all of the songs to Mp3 format to get around the problem. If you get a subscription to another music svc, then you must maintain a current subscription with whatever new svc you choose as well.

Synchronize to continue your music subscription

Do you have an account with Rhapsody? The preloaded music is part of the Rhapsody subscription service. If you dont have an account, you will receive that message until you delete the preloaded music, or subscribe to the Rhapsody Service. Best of Luck.
