Lid stuck on work bowl of kitchen aid processor

This tip is used to remove a stuck bowl from the base of a Kitchen Aid tilt-head mixer. It might work for your situation. Fill the bowl with very hot water (use the food shoot as a pour spout). Now use either frozen gel packs, or a bag of ice cubes, and lay the ice on top of the lid. Wait for a few minutes. The hot water with make bowl expand, ice will make lid shrink, thus loosening the tight lid. I'm assuming that the lid edge fits inside of the bowl, like most food processors do. Try to gently move the lid, and see if it'll give.

Closing the lid completely the processor does not work

Take everything off and see if you can activate the motor with the safety switch. It is located at the front above the button panel normally covered by the working bowl. Mixer plugged in and turned on press that button switch in with something non metallic. If the motor goes then fault will be with the mechanisms that activate that switch in either the bowl or the lid. The lids are slightly more likely to be the problem than the bowl. Only a new part will properly solve it.

Why Cuisinart mixer will not start?

All Cuisnarts have an interlock rod built in to the bowl assembly.
Make sure the bowl is positioned on the motor base correctly, and the actuator in the lid that pushes the interlock rod down is not bromen or damaged. If it is intact and working correctly, then check the switch it pushes on, or the main power switch.

I got a new bosch mixer, food processor for christmas. The food processor will not go down on the main body of the mixer, because of a white piece of plastic inside the bottom of the processor. I thought...

Not too many people offer to pay for advice, but that's no problem. This is a vollenteer site.

The issue with your food processor is because the cutting chamber and lid need to be correctly assembled so that the tabs on the pot and lid line up andslip into a slot in the handle. This will move the plastic peice out of the way.

Cuisinart overheated while trying to make almond butter

If someone can make mayonaise and know how they can make plaster the way to start the proces , then they know nothing about to make beem breezes or almond butter the engine of this kind of tools are not made for the heavy work a a little but good suggestion is like a Hobart dough mixer thats not a food processor like that DLC-5 because is made for shakes and normal fruits and vegetables or some kind of meat no problem But not for heavy emulsification operations if start to make butter from cream then you must beware of the slowly power increase comming force you can hear the difference in sound , the same problem if you have a Kitchen cutter do not cut out full fat young cheese on it at most only for a short time , because the armature and field magnet of the motor become much too hot when cream changed into butter then stop the machine quickly and when there are heavy nuts almonds are coming too its much too much force for it the commercial group Home appliances a little suggestion is cut only the nuts in the dlc-5 and doing make butter and more heavyer jobs with this kind of tools Hobart A200 20 QT 20qt Mixer Bowl 200 20 Mixing Pizza Bakery Dough
