Sorry but not the wire, I was referring to where the wire is attached, both ends. This would either be a clip-on or sandwiched between 2 small plates held together by a screw. It is not uncommon for this clips or plates to be tarnished or have burns. They have to be cleaned, if not current will not flow freely to the corona wire. The purpose of the wire is to draw the toner from the drum onto the paper, it uses static electricity to coat both the photoreceptive drum and the paper with a layer of positively charged ions. If the corona wire is not getting full charge or no charge at all, this is the primary reason the warming up is taking too long.
Additionally, try to enter service mode; try #, *, CA, #.
To reset the developer counter press 24, Start, 5, Start.
To exit press reset 3 to 4 times or turn main power off/on.
Would appreciate further updates.

You still have to scan the document before you copy it. I'm just trying to determine if something is going on with the automatic document feeder when you the images are being scanned.
It could be that the feed tires aren't picking up the paper but usually the jam light goes on if it cant pick them up.
One idea could be to reduce the amount of paper in the tray. Sometimes if it too full it can do this.
If that doesn't work, it should have a technician look at it to see what is causing the feed tires not to pick up the paper.

SOURCE: paper feed
Check tray 1 there should be an arm hanging down in the center of the tray the arm goes thru a slot in the metal plate. This arm moves when you install paper in tray 1. If the arm is missing or not in the slot the machine will think paper is in tray 1 and try to feed from tray 1. You can try changing the paper size setting for tray one to something other than the size in tray 2.
For example If tray 2 is set for 8.5x11 set tray 1 for legal.
The machine should then pull the correct size based on the print job.
Hope this helps

Depending on your findings depends on the remedies.

First try a different tray to see if it works, if it does than the paper tray you are using may have dirty feed tires or look for something obstructing it.
