Any documents or photos received through Gmail need to be downloaded.
Under the file (photo) will be 2 x options (I think)
1. VIEW FILE
2. DOWNLOAD FILE/S

When download is complete, a summary will be provided. Click "Open Folder Containing File"...or words to that effect.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: transfering pictures from my memory card

Hi,
when you connect your camera to the PC.
look in My computer and find the drive ( camera ) probably shows as Drive F:/ G:/ H:/ I:/ or similar.
Right click and open, then copy to folder on desktop, named My-Pictures ( Or similar ) once you,ve copied your photos from memory card to desktop on PC. Format the memory-card. which will erase all data. ( Right Click Format )

This should solve your problem.

Cannot download pictures from phone to computer

The easiest way to transfer pictures from a cell phone to a computer without incurring addtional charges is to transfer the pictures to a mini SD card and then insert the SD card into your PC. If you will tell me what kidn of phone you have, I can try to find the directions for where to install the mini SD card and how to transfer the pictures. At that point, you can also set the camera to automatically save the pictures to the SD card to save yourselves steps next time. : )
