When operating smells like burnt rubber. Roller brush stopped turning.

Hi leanneaj...
Your problem is caused by hair, strings, etc getting around the beater bar at the ends of the roller where the bearings are and causes it to sease up.
The smell you smelled was rubber burning, the rubber belt that operates the roller brush has burned into...broken.
You will have to remove your roller brush and clean, and oil and then reinstall it with a new belt

Suction cuts out, no clogs found in any of the inlets. It's an LG V200R, 4 months old. Returned it to LG twice and it still happens after a couple of uses. Is this a design flaw in the vacuum? Do you...

I bought the lg kompressor 2 mo ago. Made hissing sound and no suction to canister, but the hose had good suction. The inlet was clear, but there was a clog up inside the vacuum between the inlet at the beater bar and the lower hole that empties into the canister(very hard to find). Use a wire hanger to clear it out. just keep jamming it up there and it will clear eventually. There is a clog somewhere, you just have to find it.

Is there a manual for installing new drive belts on my LG Kompressor - we've had it for less than a month and the belt broke. I ordered 2 replacement belts and the new one doesn't work and the brush won't...

You've probably figured this out, but my luv200R had the same problem. The belt broke, I changed it and it still didn't spin the brushes. Turned out, the roller has bearings on either end and one of the bearings was bad and wasn't letting roller roll. So the pulley would spin against the belt and heat up and break it again. I took the bad roller to Sears where they had a new one sent to my house free of charge since it was less than a year old.
