GE Profile PSS26SGPA Water Dispenser won't stop dispensing water

When you press the water dispenser button, do you hear a noise like water is trying to come as usual. If so then your problem might be frozen chill water tank or failed chill water valve. If you don't hear the regular noise then the problem might be with the dispenser unit.

If your model is the PSS25MGMWW and the water dispenser is not workingthe problem is most likely the=> WR57X10026 Water Inlet Valve Most times the ice dispenser and water to the ice maker will continue to work properly while the half of the water control valve will fail and stop water to the dispenser or ice maker. The defrost drain line in the freezer is stopped up.
You will have to remove all food and turn the refrigerator off for 24 hours to let the drain line defrost.

sir plz check your dispenser and fix it correctly

check the solinoid valve that control water to flow.check busted fuses on pcb baord check water inlet piping

Could be in the door dispenser panel, Sol valve, main control board, water line freezing in freezer door? Call a qualified service company.

1 of two things. 1)the switch at the dispense flap has failed. 2) the water valve solenoid that the sitch activates has failed. you will need to pull the unit away from the wall and remove the bottom panel...on the right side you will see the valve assembly. remove the power connection to the vavles....then turn your water on...water out of dispenser means bad solenoid/valve....no water means bad dispenser switch.if its the switch you can leave the solenoid to the dispenser unplugged until you get the part.

This could be a bad water valve on the back of refrigerator or the dispenser is not asking the water valve to open. There are 2 valves in back, one is for ice maker and other is for the dispenser. I will help to try to locate the problem if you need, let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze

the dispenser in the freezer door has a small low temp heater surrounding the dispenser compartment to keep this from happening, and also to keep condensation from building up around the dispenser. this heater may have stopped working.

Try using a putting knife, just apply slight pressure in different spots shoud just snap in.. cant break what already broke
