What is the difference between a stun gun and a taser?

Basically, Taser is a brand name like Band-Aid or Kleenex. The main difference is that a stun-gun is a handheld electronic shock device while a Taser actually fires prongs using compressed gas that will stick into a target to deliver the shock. There's a ton of info on this Taser VS Stun Gun article here:

Dosnt heat foot, fuses are good

i would say the magnatron has burned out,,,"thats the part that heats the food up" if its burned out you would find it far cheeper to buy a new unit that get yours fixed up,,,,
also if you have been poking about inside of this microwave your very lucky to still be alive,,,,,,,,there is a lot of volts "ie:1000's" kicking about inside this microwave even if its been un-pluged for dayes,,,they can and do work like a police stun gun!!! but some times they dont just stun you,,,they kill you,,,out right as well!,,,so be warned,,im not joking????

Makes hum sound & doesn't heat

if the microwave is humming there is a fult in the megnatron,,
(thats the part that heats the food) there very pricy to buy and its not a good idear for you your self to try to fit a new one,,,as in side the microwave is a very big capasitor,, it works much like a police stun gun but it wont just stun you it could kill you if you tuch the wrong part,,,
bets thing to do it drop it into a shop for this fix or to be realy honest microwaves are so cheap now it would be a far better bet to go out and buy a nice new one, its not worth throwing good money at an old microwave only to have it pack up in a fuw more months

Power ok...no heat

it sounds like the magnatron has given up the gost,, that the bit that makes it heat up,,,if this is so its not realy worth the money to fix it as there not cheep parts to buy, also if you try to "have a go!" your self
you may end up killing your self,,,inside the microwave is a very big capacitor,,, its a bit like a police stun gun,,only it will not just stun you
it could well kill you if you tuch the wrong part,,,even if its un-pluged
it realy can bite you very hard,,,and if you servive it a police stun gun would fell like childs play after that,,, i know as i was biten by a small capacitor,, nothing like as big as in a microwave,, i could not lift my right arm for 3 days,,,
so rember to discharge it first,,,or better still play safe,, drop it in the shot for this fix to be done for you,,but i would just go out and buy a new one, and show it off to all my palls!

Everything works except for the cooking mode, is there a simple fix on my Firgidaire Microwave FMV156DSF

there is no such as a simple fix my friend,
if its not cooking then the likley hood is its the megnatron burnt out,,and there not cheap to buy also if your thinking of having a go at fixing it take grate cear,, you could easly just kill yourself doing it,
inside the microwave is a very big capacitor it works like a police stun gun but it dont just stun,
it can kill you,,,now, how much dose a new microwave cost??? less that your life cost??

Stopped working normally, makes low grumbling noise

have a look at the glass plate rollers first if there sticky free them off, but if the noise is from the inside of the microwave its likley to be a short in the mains coil witch case dont even think of fixing it
it would be far cheeper to buy a new microwave insted
a word of warning,,, dont think you can fine an easy fix for it, if its an internal fult, and dont go tinkering inside of it, there is very high voltage inside this microwave it can kill you if you tuch the wrong part have ever seen a police stun gun working???????
it realy hurts you,,,
your microwave has the stun guns very big brother inside of it,, it dont stun,, it kills!!!!
best to plat it safe dump it and buy a new one
there only about £50 today
so is your life worth more than £50???????/
