Can you come into the menus? Just to check you did not change anything? Sometimes the monitor or display stays black in record mode, because the camera was put in power save mode. In the manual you can find hoe to switch it on again. Has to do, with what you want to see during record mode. Just the image, image with info, sometimes with a grid and then display off.

How to connect la toshiba qosmio f25 av205 to a tv

The computer and the TV will both need to have the same type of connection ports to make it simple. Otherwise you will need some type of adapters that changes or go between the two to make it work. Once you have them both connected, you will have to tell your tv that your Computer is now the input source (sometimes there will be an input for Computer, PC , etc.). On the computer, sometimes you might have to hit the FN function key and one of the F1 thru F12 keys to make the display appear on the tv. The correct F1 thru F12 key to press will either have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the image of a display on it. Press and Hold the FN function key then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key to display the image on the tv.

Sound like a problem with your LCD screen, related with the CCD Image Sensor; since that you can view mode and setting displays, isnt the LCD screenviewer.

The CCD Image Sensor isnt a job that you can do it, I suggest visit your techinician service or apply if has underwarranty.

Good luck.

There's a vertical line appearing on LCD...what should i do?

Hi,

The problem is due to CCD/CMOS (the chip that physically captures light and creates the digital image) has broken. If this is the case , a repair would cost approximately $80-$130. This is the most common problem for a camera that takes blank/lines in images but where the menu display functions and old photo's display normally. Please confirm that these stripes are normally behind the menu's. Check to see if the new images are downloaded correctly and if the video function works normally. If this does not work, it supports the idea that the chip has gone.Take it to a repair,if the CCD has to be replaced then a new or refurbished camera would cost only slightly more.

Thank you !!

Screen jumps back to prior screen

If you mean to say that the computer-generated displayed image on your screen changes, it's a function of the computer, not the monitor. If you mean to say that some monitor-generated displayed image is appearing (such as a setup/configuration menu or a splash screen), please tell us more so we can diagnose further.

How can I get the date to appear on my images?

The date / time feature is a display function, only, but does not imprint data on the image file. In order to include this information, an image file must first be imported to the computer. Image-editing software (such as Adobe PhotoShop) must then be used to create data characters.
