I bought some old Goldair scales model GKS200. how do I re calibrate them please? I'm getting an out2 error code . Nothing has worked so far and I cant finf the manual.

I can't find the manual either. And as the company was sold and the new owner not supplied with all the old manuals, I'm not sure that contacting them will yield much. And although I find manuals to the GKS250, such do not instruct in calibration. But here is a couple of guesses. The out2 error generally means a scale is in need of calibration. As I can't even find a picture of your scale, you will have to bear with me. Some scales have an M button which stands for mode and pressing such can eventually take you to CAL which stands for calibration. Since I don't think your scale has such, move on to the next idea.

The out2 error message may have been produced by someone holding down the on/off button while removing the batteries. And now you remove the batteries and then hold down the on/off button while reinstalling them. Yes, that sounds crazy. Just do it. If the scale comes up with a series of numbers, release the button and then press the button again and release. It just might show a Zero. Leave it alone for a bit. There is a chance it will show a test weight. If if does, you have to set something that weighs that amount on it. If you do and it shows "pass", your scale is ready to use. Now the above might not even apply to your scale but as we have no instructions, it is worth a try. Here is another set of general instructions: https://www.laurelandwolf.com/blogs/how-to-calibrate-a-digital-scale

And here is the contact page for Goldair: https://goldair.co.nz/pages/contactus
Good luck.

I have a Soehnle kitchen scale model Venezia when I turn it on I get trouble code out 2 what does that mean

There is nothing in the very basic manual

https://www.manua.ls/soehnle/venezia-65080/manual?p=2

But 'Out 2' points to condensation on the control board or buttons that need cleaning as mentioned here. Note though, it has a 5 year warranty.

My digital gram scale does not work. the screen has some kind of word. Please help

Try recalibrating it by turning it on while holding the "tare" or "mode" button. It should show a raw data from the sensor then. Press the tare button again and it should calibrate the empty weight. Then it will show a specific weight you should put on, usually 100g. It should automatically finish calibration now. Hope this helps. The words before calibration on my scale was OUt2

My ProScale XX 250 shows out2

I had this problem with my Silvercrest kitchen scales model z30170. Being wall mounted the weighing platform was on a fold-down flap . It turned out to be a broken wire in the hinge joint.

My Soehnle scale shows an out2 error - how do I fix?

How to calibrate when "out2" is shown.
With the power off andthe scale on a stable surface, hold "g" and press "on". Some number will show up, probably a negative number. Press the "on" button again and the scale should display "Zero". Wait until it says "200.0". Gently place a 200 gram weight on the scale and wait a few seconds. If your successful it will say "Pass" and your scale will work again, yay!

Scale displays OUT2

Hi,
you need just to recalibrate it:
The procedure is standard for semi-all models of pocket scales, but the way how to get to calibration mode differs from model to model (or vendor to vendor).
In brief:
1.While turn-on get to the calibration mode (by pressing and holding the ON button, or holding TARE while turinig on) You should hold this "magic" combination until the LCD will show a number (large number - it was more than 2000 in my case). This number is a raw data from the sensor.
2.Now release the "magic" button.
3.Press it one more time, the display will show 2Ero and then 100.0
4.Now put calibrated weight of 100 grams on the scale and wait 3 seconds.
5.Press "magic" button again. The display will show CAL and then PASS.
6.Now remove the weight and turn off the scale.
7.Thats all - now you can use your scale as usually.

Mini digital scale displays out2

I just had this problem on set Salter scales (says 3309 on label on back so assume that's model no) which came up OUT2 solidly after hadn't been used for a while.
Looking on WWW this means on other scales they need to be recalibrated. There are only 2 buttons on ths model ON/Zero and 2nd is mode for grams, oz etc. Discovered by trial and error have to hold down the on button and repeatedly click the measure button as it powers up, screen says err2 press on button again and says 5000g, put 5000g weight on scales, press on button again display says CAL press on button and it at first came up with EEEE and failed but next attempt it said PASS and it all worked again. I used 2 x 1.5kg bags flour and 2 x 1Kg bags sugar to make 5kg with bit tipped out of one to make exact and checked on another set scales. So trick appears to be finding how to get your scales in to calibrate mode and what the weight it expects is.
