I can't find the manual either. And as the company was sold and the new owner not supplied with all the old manuals, I'm not sure that contacting them will yield much. And although I find manuals to the GKS250, such do not instruct in calibration. But here is a couple of guesses. The out2 error generally means a scale is in need of calibration. As I can't even find a picture of your scale, you will have to bear with me. Some scales have an M button which stands for mode and pressing such can eventually take you to CAL which stands for calibration. Since I don't think your scale has such, move on to the next idea.
The out2 error message may have been produced by someone holding down the on/off button while removing the batteries. And now you remove the batteries and then hold down the on/off button while reinstalling them. Yes, that sounds crazy. Just do it. If the scale comes up with a series of numbers, release the button and then press the button again and release. It just might show a Zero. Leave it alone for a bit. There is a chance it will show a test weight. If if does, you have to set something that weighs that amount on it. If you do and it shows "pass", your scale is ready to use. Now the above might not even apply to your scale but as we have no instructions, it is worth a try. Here is another set of general instructions:

Good luck.
