Programme jumps from one to another and sounds like the motor is just running on and wont start again for a while. It's not completing the programme.

Sounds like you have a problem with a regulator. Hard to tell without knowing what model of mower you own. You must remember that whatever is attached to your battery charges it while the motor is running. If the battery does not receive that needed charge, running the motor will certainly drain your battery.

Check your alternator, and your battery. It sounds like your alternator is not charging and your battery has run completely down.

starts ok then skips programmes lights flash then stops without finishing wont complete any programme

sounds like alternator charging output is zero, should run off of alternator output after a jump start, preform a complete charging system check , Battery , Alternator, Cables...Replace as needed...

What ever the matter was with it that it needed a jump start is probably the reason it started and died and now wont start. This doesnt sound like an anti-theft problem.

okay try this....talk to your parts store and get a battery load tester, and find out if the battery is indeed dead. My guess is it sounds like the Altenator is dying. they are around 50-100 and can be install by a pro in minutes.

It sounds like your battery is completely gone and can't even hold a charge.

try taking the battery cables completely off and cleaning them.
<:AtomicElement>with a wire brush, put them back on and wait for about 15 min. if it don't start by turning the key over jump it off if the battery is still good it will charge if not you need a new battery. watch your voltmeter on the dashboard while it's running. good-luck, ray

my geo storm lights come on just fine but it wont turn the motor over just dead what could be my problem it was raining hard when i shut it off
