I don't understand. Did you buy several new batteries, and they are all bad? Or did you use the same battery, after you charged it?
I fyou have a mulit meter and know how to use it, you could easy measure if the battery is still good.
Try to connect with the small contacts on the battery, and measure the voltage of the battery. It should be a little over 3,7 volt, That is the voltage needed in the camera. But without any load the voltage is a bit (few tenths of a volt) above the voltage printed on the battery. If it is ono a few tenths lower, the battery is defect.
Buying batteries for elder camera's can be risky, because you never know how long they were in stock. You are only lucky, when a manufacture uses the same battery in newer models again. so buying a lot of old batteries brings you no where.

My car died while I was driving and it wont start

Sounds like your alternator went bad. The battery ran down after awhile and now it won't restart because your battery is too weak. Have the alternator checked and if bad, replace. Charge or replace the battery and that should fix it.

Tip

Battery keeps dying for no reason:

Is your Battery good or bad?
Sometimes a battery seems ok then later it seems dead. sometimes it charges and then it won't take a charge. This keeps going on and doesn't really seem like the battery is bad. This is a common problem happening to everyone at times.
Could be a dead cell in the battery, try measuring each cell in the battery. If one cell is low it will seem like a dead battery. But the battery really needs to be replaced. The debris in the bottom of the cell is intermittently shorting the cell.

Hope this helps.

I HAVE A SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT ON THE CODE 1361.....(IGNITION COIL LOW VOLTAGE) HOW DO YOU CHECK OR FIX THAT? THIS IS ON A 2002 GRANDPRIX GT

Other than the obvious (radios etc that have been added) I would check the diode in the alt. It is like a one way valve so it will charge but when shut off drain the batt. when bad.

Laptop crashes and wont keep charged battery

Crashes when? What are you doing when it crashes? When it crashes does it boot right back up or do you have to wait a while then it will boot back up?

The laptop might be running hot or has a virus, but you'll need to answer the questions above to really isolate what is going on.

As for the battery not charging, either the Power Cord is bad or the battery is bad. If the power cord is good, it would normally charge the battery unless the battery is dead. Batteries only have a useful life and last for so long, then they have to be replaced.

Maybe your DC Power Jack where the Power Cord plugs into the laptop is bad. That would cause the laptop to crash (shut down) and it would also keep the battery from charging.

Take an ink pen and push the tip inside the jack and see if the little pin wiggles, if so the jack is bad. You'll have to take the laptop apart to fix it. Most times it is soldered onto the motherboard, so you will have to desolder the old and solder a new one.

if you replaced alternator 3 times , have you had your battery tested ? if battery is bad usually that will cause alternator to keep going bad . try having battery tested . might just need a battery

I have a 1990 Volvo 240 recently the car started to die at random times while driving. When it dies all the dash lights come on can't start it for a bit afterwards. I replaced the battery and it seemed...

  • This is classic of your alternator going bad. Sometimes, when it first begins to go bad it will function on and off. Soon it just stops charging the battery all together. The battery has one function and that is to start the car. Then the alternator is ran by the belt and charges the battery and in effect runs the car. The reason for the lights coming on is the power fail in the car.
  • Buying a new battery worked for a short time because the fresh battery ran the car but with no alternator to charge the battery the car soon died again.
  • The fix is to replace the alternator. Do it soon or even that new battery will go bad from being drained so much.

regards, Tony

My battery died and now my driver side window will go down but most of the time wont go up unless i repeatedly open and close my door, how could my battery dying cause this?

You first should fix the battery problem. You might have a bad battery, charging system problem, or bad connection. If you fix this problem, or if the car will start now, and you still have problems with the window, you might have a bad motor, or possibly broken wire in the door area. It's hard to tell without doing some testing. Fix the battery problem or charge it up. It's also possible you could have two problems at the same time. Good luck.

This problem you may not be able to fix. There are a couple of things you can try.
1st Keep on rebooting your laptop until this error goes away.
2nd Replace the BIOS battery, it maybe nearly worn out. After replacement you need to go into the BIOS setting to set the Date & Time.

Non charging battery

your motherboard might be bad, cause, the power to charge the battery, goes through the mobo, to the battery, so your mobo is probably bad. I do agree with nilrem, you might have worn off the solder.
