Question about Encon Industries 72009 SWIRL Ceiling Fan

1 Answer

Encon celing fan 3 speed with globe light.

This kitchen fan is on the same power line as the bathroom exhaust fan. While cleaning exhaust fan, wires were shorted, kicking off breaker...and also burning what I believe to be a filter. It's a small black component about 1.5 inches by .75 inch, three wires (purple, yellow, and red)having written on it Watson AC250V MAX T 70'C E127244 I need a replacement of this component. None of the pictured fans on the sight looks like it, so am not sure of the model name. Thank you for time. a "fan" of yours.

You can probably find a replacement at Home Depot or Lowe's in the lamp department. They sell these globes as universal replacements rather than being specific to a particular model of fan. The 3 set screw holding method is pretty universal for ceiling fixtures and fans of all brands. If the current shade is not shattered, put a little tape on it and take it with you to the store. good luck, Al K

if it's around the fan then mabey the fan exhaust pipe is not connected .If it's in the attic you can go up there and checkbut if it's between floors you will have to pull the fan down from inside and check. It sounds like your celing keeps getting moisture from the underside of the paint

I need a celing mounting bracket for 52in 5 blade encon ceiling fan. where can i get one the model # is 94b03-0395

I just uninstalled my 29 year old Encon flush mount fan light. The number on the base is E101004. It was a lighted base. The mount bracket is built into the base. It is the 4 prong and hook style the allows the motor to hang suspended while wiring and then swings up. There is a glass ring that is sandwiched between the base plate and decorative bottom.
It's the only usable part besides the 4 glass light covers. You can save this from the land fill if you haven't purchased a replacement fan.

Need to change glass globe in hampton bay fan

I had the exact same problem. To solve it, I had a friend hold the area of the fan that the globe screws into. I wore rubber dish gloves to get a good grip and pushed up slightly on the globe as I turned counter-clockwise. My friend held the other part and turned clockwise a little as well. It took a lot of pressure for it to finally come loose and then we just turned it about another 90 degrees and the globe slips right out of the groove.

I couldn't believe how hard this was to do.
