Question about Seagate (ST3300601CB-RK) (ST3300601CBRK) 300 GB Hard Drive
My Seagate drive works fine last time I used it, but I can't find the stupid AC adapter - I "tore the house apart" looking for it. All I need is the specs on the AC adapter: voltage current DC connector polarity and I can find one that will work (I must have over 30 AC adapters laying around, and NO, the Seagate adapter is NOT among them!) Help! thanks Mike
It'll need a +5v and a +12v.
I'll repost tomorrow with current ratings, I've got one at work.
Or you could take the drive out of the Seagate case and put it in another case, they are cheap.

Here's a pic of my adapter, no need for 1,000 words.
You should download that image and view it on a proper viewer, it's a nice clear image.
Just in case.....
Right click on the picture, choose to Save As.
Save to a local directory of your choosing.
McNatt, please submit a rating of Solved after you've read this post.
Thanks!

where can i find an ac-to-converter adapter for a seagate 250gb external hard drive just like the one pictured here
I just moved in and have a dozen adaptors and am not sure which one my Seagate Freeagent Pro Mseries 320G needs. I have a model #WA-24C12U with a DC output of 12Vdc=2A. Is that the right one? It does fit. But I thought I'd double check before I fried it. thanks
