Release hood latch and open hood.
    Remove the headlamp assemblies.
Hoist vehicle and support with safety stands.
Remove the five push pin fasteners attaching bottom of fascia/air dam to radiator closure panel.
    Remove front wheels.
Remove front wheelhouse splash shields fasteners as necessary to gain access to bolts attaching front fascia to fender.
Remove the two bolts and two nuts attaching fascia to the front fenders (Fig. 1) and (Fig. 2).
Disconnect fog lamp wire connectors, if necessary.
    Lower vehicle.
Remove two bolts attaching the upper grille support to the headlamp mounting panel at each side of the grille.
    Remove bumper fascia from vehicle.
    INSTALLATION

Position front bumper fascia on vehicle (Fig. 1) and (Fig. 2).
Install the two bolts attaching fascia to headlamp mounting panel at each side of grille.
Hoist vehicle and support with safety stands.
Install the two bolts and two nuts attaching fascia to the front fenders. The fascia should be flush to fender.

    Install front wheels.
Connect fog lamp wire connectors, if necessary.
Install the five push pin fasteners attaching bottom of fascia to radiator closure panel.
    Lower the vehicle.
    Install the headlamp assemblies.

The "push pin fasteners" are the pain you are having i believe. They push in, but to get them out you need squeeze them on the back & pull at the same time. If you happen to break a few, you can buy them in various sizes at the auto parts store. I hope this information is helpful, an owners manual will not have any info like this in it.

    E2 error in smeg dishwasher

e2 is overfill or flooded base.
take the bottom front panel off and see if there is water in it and if so, mop it out. if it reoccurs, then you have a leak.
you will see a float device in the front approx middle and this is what actuates e2. if fault is intermittant, try putting a small weight on this - a washer for example.
if e2 is being caused by overfill and not a flooded base, then the water intake moulding needs replacing

I have a smeg dishwasher which keeps displaying error code 8. I know this has something to do with the water supply to the baskets but have checked and there does not seem to be a blockage. Any help...

    Hi

I saw your post today and see your fault was dated back in July 2008. Well its a year late and I had the same problem coming up on my machine SMEG DWI 614, error E8 to be exact. After 6 hours of trying to resolve this cleaning PCB, etc. (one can see its the recession and money is scarce) I finally pulled out the diverter valve, dismantled it and left it in some boiling water with limescale remover. I made sure the plastic teeth in the mechanism could spin properly and inserted back into the machine....

And finally the machine works once again. It was 6 hours of my time but probably saved me +/- £150.

    Smeg Dishwasher - model unknown

model numbers for dishwashers are generally where you can get to from the front, if they are noit on the front panel then look inside the door rim where the rubber seal is, either a small sticker on the door rim itself (inside) or where the door fits on the main cabinet, open the door fully to look for this sticker, sometimes placed under the front of the lid
