Not that I know off. But it could be. look at the owner's manual to find out. Since it is electric, it may have one . It could also be the switch .
So look at that possibility too.
Try different cords and different outlets to make sure it is not one of these.

check the ignition module. as the saw heats up it causes the inside of the module to expand which causes it to stop producing spark. when it cools off it makes contact again and starts working right

I have a $120 10"

It's possible that the brushes may have worn out or a bad connection may have developed in them or at the brush holders. Open the motor, check the brushes and look for any overheating. One of the windings may have gone open circuit in the armature of the motor and in this case it probably isn't worth repairing.

The saw will not start when plugged it. I tried a different outlet, and no change. i tried the reset button and, i even held the reset button down for 30 seconds and no change. I even opened up the...

More then likely the switch itself is bad. You will need to check it by using a volt meter or a Sperry 4-Way Electrical Tester. It is sold at Home Depot for only $2.96. Here is the location. http://www.homedepot.com/Tools-Hardware/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xj1Zarnk/R-100183054/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053
Open the switch box like you did before. Plug in the saw. Now touch the black and red leads to the black and white wires coming into the switch. If the light comes on, you have power coming into the switch. If the light does not come on, then you have a problem between the plug and the switch.
If the light did come on, then you will need to test the other side of the switch. Turn the switch to the on position. Touch the leads to the wires coming out of the switch, just like you did before. If the light comes on, the switch is good, If not, the switch needs to be replaced.
If the light comes on, then I believe the brushes may need to be checked on the motor.

Grizzly go691 10" table saw.

Make sure the motor is not bound-up by turning the shaft somewhat. Suspect a faulty power switch for the motor, also check for a thermal breaker on the motor--push to reset. It is not likely that the motor windings could have gone bad. Does the motor 'hum' when turned on? A start capacitor could have failed in that case. Contact the selling dealer for warranty help if you can't get it running again. Hope this helps!

Start up good and run good , or later on it start stumble and die out

1. your vent for the fuel tank may be clogged
2. your ignition coil, when the saw warms up, the blades inside the coil heat up and separate causing loss of ignition
3. fuel delivery may be an issue, your fuel filter or carburetor need to be cleaned
4. possible air leak
5. your saw could have possible slight scoring and when the saw heats up and the jug/cylander swells you could lose compression

There are many other possibilities, depending on where you are located, we would be more than happy to take a look at your saw to diagnose the problem. if you are outside of CT we can have it shipped. Please call 860.233.5439 x222 Butler Power Equipment.

Thank you!

NOT SPINING ALL THE TIME, could it be clutch?farrulla@yahoo.com

if you have to reset the dial, it would be a worn out contact in the time.
purchase a rebuilt timer and all should be ok
if there is an issue with the clutch you will smell a burning smell as your clutch heats up from slipping.
i dont think it is the clutch, but more likely the timer. and possibly the lid swith

Table saw capacitor heats up and explodes.

The wrong capacitor for one thing. There are starting caps and running caps. The starting cap is in the circuit for only long enough for the motor to get up to speed. If you have a Leeson motor that has a start and run cap then the run cap may not be the correct on. If you have a start cap blowing out I suggest you check the centriifugal switch in the end of the motor. It may have welded the contacts shut. In any case, I would take it to a motor shop .

it has a thermal fuse that shuts it down if it over heats. Check the hose , wands and floor tool for blockage and check your bag and filters as well.
