The unit is on Heat, Fan Auto it's 36 degrees outside, Thermostate set on 73 Actual temp inside 70. Unit runs continuously. How can I get more heat. I tried Emergency heat and that doesn't help.

Have you cleaned the air return filters ? Wash them, don't vacuum or brush them. It damages the filter screen. Sometimes a thermostat will be out by a few degrees. If the filters are clean, try turning the temp down a bit to 65 degrees and see if the air con shuts down. ( If your room temp is showing 70, it should switch off the machine) If it doesn't turn off, keep reducing the temp by 5 degrees at a time and wait a few minutes each movement to see if and when it shuts down. If the machine keeps running, I would suggest your thermostat is shot and you will need a new one.

Heater heats but shuts off

Try the fan in the ON position on the thermostat, do you mean the fire shuts off or the blower?

Heatpump r-22 rudd system, unit runs starts out heating then compressor stops in middle of heating ,this unit has a out side air temp. sensor just wondering if possible bad board or not

If compressor stops in middle, check the following.
1.Thermostat setting must be minimum +3 degree than your room temp
2. Check it's in heat "mode"
3. Check indoor and outdoor coils are clean.
4. Check fan motor is working alright.
5. Outside sensor and room air sensor is placed correctly.
6. Gas pressure is o.k
7.Check compressor is overheated, even all the above is o.k.

I have a colman electric furnace eb15b it had a/c.i am using it as a furnance only.i used the white red wire for thermostate.it works but not great.blows hot for a short time.then warm only.takes a long...

You need to make sure that both sides of the heat kit are coming on. One of the heating elements could be bad. Turn the power off and remove the heat kit. Check and see if there are any visible breaks on it. Also, when the unit is running, take a volt meter and check for voltage to the heat kit. You can also do a continuity check to see if the heating elements are good. Good luck.

Heat blowing Cold when in drive. When in Park, it is warm

have you chg. any thing lately like thermostate? added any coolent to system? if not, thermostate could be stuck in the open position. if stuck open, setting still, it will throw heat, but moving coolent flows to fast and does not get a chance to get hot. if you did chg. thermostate it could have a air pocket in the system. and also adding coolent can create an air pockets too. you will know this when your traveling down the road and temp guage fluctuates up and down. witch means air in system.
