Question about General Electric Hardware & Accessories
This timer has a Dusk to Dawn setting, as well as 2,4,6,8 hour setting. I assumed this meant it would come on and switch off when you selected the number of hours. When I set it for a specified amount of time, the lights flash on and off constantly. When I set it to "ON' they stay on. Any help appreciated.
If lights are flashing, then photo eye might be exposed to too much light, causing photoeye electronics to think it's daytime, and so lights go off.
But then it's dark, and photoeye turns lights on again.
The cycle repeats all night because 2-4-6-8 hour off setting starts over each time lights turn on.
Or maybe timer is defective.
