Remove the relay and capacitor from the compressor.
Using an ohm meter place black lead into one hole on the relay and red lead into the other hole. See if you read anything.
Capacitor place black lead on one pin and red on the other.
Meter should rise and then slowly fall.

I have a carrier 38TDB048300 Air conditioner - the condenser is not operating at all -- neither fan nor compressor. What is the HC95DA700 unit (capacitor)?

The HC95DA700 capacitor is a start capacitor that is used in conjunction with the relay to get the compressor started. Then the relay takes the start cap out of the circuit and the run cap takes over. It could be any of the three components is bad. I usually change all three to be sure. If that doesn't work the compressor is locked up and, in that case, you have to replace the compressor.

Hi. Our GE GSH25JSDD SS side by side drive just stopped freezing, cooling. The fan is on inside freezer and lights, and motor down on bottom, back is running. Drain is clear. Won't cool down.

I need someone to feel the top of the compressor. Is it cool, hot or too hot to keep your hand there? Usually on GE models like yours the=> WR55X11072 Main Control Board is the problem along with the start relay, overload and run capacitor. GE Refrigerator Model GSH25JSDD SS Parts

Why does 15 amp 250 volt fuse in my lg refridgerator keep blowing

the 15 amp fuse is blowing because the current draw to run the compressor exceeds 15 amps
that problem could be from a failed start/ run capacitor or a failed compressor motor (I am betting on the capacitor)
the best answer is to get a fridge technician to check it out as the capacitor is a cheap fix while the compressor unit is as costly as a new fridge

New house, cooler bought 2006. doesn't seem to run, but light is on

If the compressor is not running you will need to replace the "start relay" and the "run capacitor" on the compressor.
Here is the start relay to order.
Here is the capacitor to order.
Here is a diagram to show you the part locations.
The start relay is number 89 on the diagram and the capacitor is number 96.

The parts come with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

I need to repair my GE profile refrigerator

The first thing you need to determine is if the compressor is coming on. If it isn't then the problem is in the lower section, PCB, start relay or capacitor or compressor. If the compressor does come on, then it sounds like your main board is the problem.

The compressor is not running and there is a clicking noise coming from the circuit board panel on the back of the refridgerator

You have to replace the main control board . The clicking is the compressor board relay , which the only repair , is to replace the main board .
