Palm Treo 750 - volume problem

(This is my 2nd email) When making or receiving calls, neither party can hear each other. When the phone's volume was checked, it was turned up as high as it would go. Please can you get back to me today? As this is the manager's phone, and he needs to start using it asap. Thanks Rachael.

I wonder if your phone has a screen protector attached. If so, try to remove it and make some tests. Then, try to clean it, reapply it to the screen and make further tests.
Just my 2 cents... Carlos

Low volume once call is established

Hi,

Try and locate where the volume control of the phone is so that when your making calls, immediately the caller your calling picks up the call, increase the volume by the side of the phone.I think you will hear your caller clearer.

Take care.

Can't hear or be heard during phone calls

This is a known promblem with the treo phones.
If you had a wired headset plugged in to your phone then removed it. The phone thinks the headset is still plugged in. Try putting headset back in phone and removing it. You may need to do this a couple of times. If it still doesn't solve the problem make sure your bluetooth on the phone is turned off. If problem still exists you may have to contact your carrier for replacement.

Good Luck,

Microphone not working

Hi,

Sometimes you can get moisture in the speaker, try drying it out with hair dryer. Other wise he would have to get the ear speaker replaced. Sorry for the bad news.

Also, check if he has the volume up.

Treo 750 does not ring

Ok, I thikn I fixed it, but it is kinda dumb. Maybe this will help you. Call your phone from another phone. While the phone is ringing press the Volume Up Button on the left side of your Treo. Now look to make sure that both of the Volume Mixer buttons are turned up. For some reason the system sounds were turned all the way up, but the ringer volume was turned all the way down. The only place that I know to make the change to the ringer volume is pressing the rocker switch while the phone is ringing. Let me know if that helps
