My 2007 ve sv6 commodore stereo stopped working

My stereo and air con controls all stopped at first but now just the stereo isn't working however the bluetooth does. If I press any stereo control buttons on the dash or steering wheel the station display lights up for a few seconds then disappears and no sound. Anyone know what it may be?

SOURCE: Pioneer cmx 3000 controller problem The unit

Hi,

Check the fuses in the main unit. The fuses looks like a resistor, but are marked with "IC" on the print.IC207 (1,5A) and IC209 (315mA) are the one I found to be faulty in a CMX3000 I fixed.

My SV6 VE 6 speed auto commodore holds 3rd gear longer than other gears peak traffic - any advice greatly accepted. At the front of the queue - the gearbox changes through all gears perfect - thanks

I would try servicing the transmission, that means a new fluid filter and a fluid drain and refill, it may help. You may have a sticking pressure check valve.

No vacuum at air con vent control knob in vu commodore

check small vacuum hose on rear of square inlet manifold top that goes throught firewall ( bulkhead ) is not cracked or has come off
it goes into cab near heater hoses. this is the vacuum supply hose
if you have no vacuum the heater controls default to go to windscreen. also check the black & white plastic little round one way valve for leaks & operation
also check vacuum hose that goes onto heater tap that is in right inner gaurd under brake master cylinder area for leaks and that its on the heater tap valve
if they are all ok check inside do you hear any hissing noises behind dash controls or down at front centre console area?

Air con cool for a few days then won't get cool, stop and restart all good

Cars for years have been using a serpentine belt. The compressor only works if the belt is spinning. With the engine running check to make sure the belt is spinning consistently. The alternator or the water pump could be seizing up causing the belt to stop. Check your idler as well. Tension on the belt could be loose and again not turning everything.
