Nearly brand new wolf range ignitor not working

The cleaner most likely got soap or debri in the gas orifice, this is where the gas goes into the the burner cap. If you can see a spark/light then the ignitors are working properly, just not getting fuel to the area. Pull the burner cap off, check area for particles on/in bruner. Take a twist tie and strip the outer covering off, Use it to clean out the orifice for the gas. Burner ring has an area where the gas comes in. Ensure it too is free of any debri.

Whenever i light the gas top wolf range, the ignighters on other burners keep firing

Hello,

The electrode (spark plug) for that burner is not telling the spark module the burner is lit and go ahead and turn off the spark. That electrode and the wiring on it need to be replaced, from that burner back to the spark module.

I hope this helps you to repair the problem with you stove,

I just got my (new to me) pre-1990 Wolf 36'' range connected (by a certified pro). 4 burners, 12'' fry top/charbroiler/cheesemelter thingie on left, 4 burners on right, 29'' oven - propane. It has not been...

the oven pilot has 2 setting first setting is for you to light small flame, should not be all yellow if it is it has a dirty orifice inside the pilot hood, you can remove this by disconnecting the pilot line from the hood and removing orifice for cleaning, just rub it with a cloth.once clean and replaced you light pilot and check it out. if its ok turn on oven and secondary pilot will ignite that why it got bigger!! this heats a flame sensor to allow 100% safty vavle to open to let gas into burner so yuo can cook.

Electric igniters dont shut off

Remember to turn the control knob past the "LITE" setting once the burner fires.
If that is not the issue you have one or more defective spark switches.
Each valve has its own switch wired in series with the others.

This sounds like a problem that was common at the time these ranges were sold -- it prompted a recall:

Hopefully you can still get it fixed. BTW, these ranges were manufactured through 2000 by the Wolf Range Co., which only makes the commercial models now. Residential ranges are now marketed under the Wolf brand by Sub-Zero.
