Wont copy Okay, well first of all i tried using the copier when it wasnt connected to the computer and the power button just flashed. i connected and installed it to the computer step by step, but for some reason it still wont copy or scan, the printer will work fine but it just doesnt seem to communicate to the scanner and copier part. im thinking more or less it's my printer and not my computer, please help.

my scanner used to work fine but I too am now getting a huge black page. HELP! I have tried everything...I may just buy a new one and say forget HP!

Verify your scanning bulb still lights when you try to scan a document, is the machine physically operating the scanning arm? Is it doing anything at all???? More information would be helpful but do keep in my mind you can get a very nice ALL IN ONE machine for between 100-125 bucks now.

Computer will not turrn on hp a 1230n

Hi Raul,
Try this following instruction to isolate the problem.
1. Check the power outlet/AVR if it has an output, if okay,
2. Check the wire if okay, often times, the wire is damage or open. try to use another cable.
3. If the wire is okay, try to isolate the power supply, remove the power supply connection to the board and short the color gray and green wire to see if the power supply is working, if the power supply turned on then its ok.
4. It the power supply is working, try to check the power on button, it might have a problem. to override the power on button you can short the pins inside the board where the wire from power button is connected to motherboard.

Printer won't respond to demands

Hi cmiller59,

This is a quite common issue. Try this, un-install printer and printer software. Reinstall software first before you connect any cables. After reinstalling software power down your computer. Connect all cables associated with your printer. Power on your system, windows will detect new hardware and the wizard will ask you what you want to do. Place installation cd in the cd drive and in the hardware wizard choose have disk and click next. I hope this helps, if not, hit me back, we have other options.

Thanks for using FixYa.com

GEPower Keyboard Help - Worked before, but not now

Did you install the CD software program for the Keyboard?
The Keyboard should have been plugged in before you started your computer. Then you should have installed the CD program.

Also after installation if it doesn't work try the following:
Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

Need help urgently

Try unplugging the printer from the computer, then turn off the printer with the Power button, next unplug the power cord from the printer for 5 minutes or longer, now plug the power cable back in and turn on printer without connecting to the computer. If the lights have stopped flashing, reconnect to the computer (if using USB) or power off first if using a parallel cable.

Add comment if still having trouble. Hope this helps.
